Sure go ahead.

AH, featherhead, I didn't tell you what you thought. I only said I could guess. Please read and keep up.

Yea me too. I would love to see 100 Ron Paul's running. It's just so extreme to want small government and low taxes.

LOL yeah ... let’s get into government to make it smaller.

Never works out for some reason eh?

What a dumb ass statement.

Nobody in the US under the age of 55 seems to watch it, either... but Sheppard Smith's face is burnt into every nursing home TV in the country for some reason.

As do I. You and I obviously disagree on the effects of that and I'd love to see which one of us are right.

Shep can be entertaining in a smarmy, slightly unhinged manner. It probably appeals to folks in the early stages of dementia.

We have similar opinions of each other.

Your dreams of those in government making government less powerful and invasive has worked out so well so far ... have't they?

Pfft.

Nah, Trump usually seems to like Hannity and Fox and Friends, not Shep.

Oh get over yourself. I made one sideways comment and you want do dance on the head of a pin over it.

The Republican Party is EVOLVING? LOL. Sure, whatever. You're as big a partisan hack as any here, so get off the high-horse sport.

I doesn't work because the gov't is so corrupt on both sides that regardless which party is in control the gov't continues to grow.

I don't disagree with the left and even socialist on social issues and healthcare but they are to blinded to accept the reality of the situation and are to focused on their wants. The reality is that gov't is riddled with corruption and making it bigger is the absolute worse thing that you can do.

Wanting the existing DNC and GOP controlled gov't to come up with a good healthcare system or any other solution, is about as stupid as giving the MAFIA more control in order to fix the issues with crime.

We are a point that we need to STOP , and shrink gov't. Then build it back up because its gotten so compromised by special interest that no matter what good intentions anyone has, it gets bastardized in the end at the expense of the majority of Americans and purely for the benefit of the few wealthiest individuals .

Where is the Democrats version of the Tea Party? Please point to it.

I'm not a hack, I'm a professional Partisan. Get it right.

How has the Democrat party evolved?

The Democratic Party in the last two decades for the most part has been a dumbshow of too many divergent interests while really maintaining the status quo. I think Elizabeth Warren wants to be on some edge going forward ... but honestly, she's grating.

You're a professional? I'll take your word for it. (You need to practice.)

How has the Democratic Party evolved? Not much. It's the side of the unilateral Corporatist Party that caters mostly via mouth-service only to minorities and academics. Much like the Republicans are the other side that caters to White males, religious fundamentalists, and the moderately rich (who are still worried about taxes and so forth).

Two sides, one party.

We need to get rid of the entrenched leadership of both parties. McConnell needs to go as well as Schumer.

It does not matter if fresh faces get in on either side because the leadership will just squelch any ideas from junior members. New faces either have to toe the line or be unheard from.

Our government is just so corrupt I doubt we will see anything change for at least 20 years.

Contrary to my normal mode of arguing, I'll tell you I think it's simpler than that.

There are two basic trends ... authoritarianism and revolution.

Anyone who wants to be a part of government at any level is authoritarian.

If there existed an actual revolutionary in American politics, when they win, they will become the establishment.

It's in the nature of things.

The reason I have supported the American system under our Constitution is that it created a government with so many different levels of checks and balances while recognizing the rights of the People to self-determination that it maintained, for a while, an odd stasis ... power was factionalized and distributed.

Same reason, the whole thing is corrupt.
