best get an education before you make the same mistake the OP did and speak in absolutes.

Doesn't someone just have to say they are trans to be an "actual transgender"?

If so then there are cases.

I am in no fear of transgender people having any more odds of being a criminal than any other segment of society. People are people.

No. An "actual" transgender person is a transgender for the rest of their life. Perverts would have to persist which would be a waste of time since there are easier ways.

We get it. Logical fallacies and all that. Now let's move on and discuss the actual premise.

Yes i understand this, I spent a couple years in jail there was a bunch of sexual assault; but I was referring to abuse of children. I did a quick google and the only examples of sexual abuse by women I saw were against their own children and not the kind of predatory bathroom lurking we're talking about... I think you're not really arguing with what I'm saying you're just arguing with me.

Devil's advocate here.

How do we know what a person is going to do with the rest of their life?

Isn't the trans reversal rate HUGE?

I think the left has taken a very difficult private matter of people who actually are hurting and used it as a wedge issue. Much like guns, abortion, racism and calling anyone being in favor of social programs socialist. Sad.

I just don't like seeing empirical statements that are wrong. I think admitting to the error would be the adult thing to do here, but then, I'm not you.

So it a person who claimed to be a transgender, but then later decided they weren't, they would be a pervert?

I don't think there are countless cases. Did you actually take your own advice and Google it.
My own Google search brought up a full page but only this case which occurred in a private home.

We don't know. And no the reversal rate is not huge. I am pretty sure the the persistence lasts more than 6 months so it's a pretty good bet. After all the diagnosis for any type of problem are made if they last more than 6 months.

I don't understand your last paragraph. Sorry. Who are hurting?

From the couple of trans people i met that ended up de-transitioning, it was more of a case of being unable to "pass" and basically feeling too freakish and noticeable.

Hope that isn't a straw man.

Last paragraph is more of a look at L VS R politics. Any thing and every thing is game to use in the ideological war of separation.
Trans people have been with us as long as we have been, but now it is being used as a wedge issue buy both the left and Right.

Wonder why?

I know why. Pretty obvious. And that's a partial point of this thread.

Probably because they are one of the most demonized, abused and neglected groups of people in the history of human society and finally see an opportunity to not be viewed with such disdain due to our changing society morals.

You seem to be the expert on all things transgender, I'm just trying to understand this.

www.huffingtonpost.com...

e Actual Numbers Make it Clear why Anecdotes are just Anecdotes

When looking at this statistically, it is pretty easy to understand why this is true statistically. Over the 35 year history of NDOs protecting transgender people all over the world, only one case of a person abusing an NDO and committing sexual assault (in Canada) has ever been found, even by those most interested in demonizing transgender people.

Think about that for a moment.

Every NDO, every person, every bathroom, every day, every trip to the loo, for 35 years, and it’s happened once in the entire world

I think the subject isn't important, I think keeping the US citizens segregated in our groups is the point.
