A Wyoming man who identifies as a transgender woman is on trial for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in a bathroom.

The trial for Miguel Martinez, who goes by the name Michelle, began on Monday, the Billings Gazette reported. Martinez allegedly invited the young girl into the bathroom with him where he allegedly fondled the girl’s breasts and genitalia, before penetrating her. The girl told police that “it hurt inside” and she started to cry, the Casper Star Tribune reported.

The poor girl. This sexual predator took advantage of this little girl, and sexually abused her in the bathroom as he "went into the bathroom as the girl was about to leave".

Martinez is a transgender who identifies as female. This is no excuse to condone violence against the transgender community. However, it is one of the reasons why I and some other members as well as other Americans have been vehemently against the "bathroom inclusive laws."

Just found an update on this case. This happened in Casper Wyoming. This case started in May 2017, and Martinez was found guilty yesterday May 18th.

A now-11-year-old girl testified Monday that a friend of her family entered the bathroom of her house in Casper in March and sexually assaulted her, she said in Natrona County District Court.

The girl, who now lives outside Wyoming, gave her halting testimony during the first day of the trial of Miguel Alberto Martinez, who identifies as female and is also known as Michelle. (Featured in the photo above)

Martinez, who was 30 when arrested, faces one count of first-degree sexual abuse of a child and one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a child. If convicted on both counts, Martinez could face between 25 and 70 years of imprisonment.
...

k2radio.com...

Martinez has been convicted and is facing from 25-70 years. He claims there is no evidence of his assault despite the girl and several witnesses testifying in court which included:

...
The state rested its case before noon Wednesday after Blonigen called numerous witnesses to testify including family members, family friends, law enforcement officers, a sexual assault nurse examiner from the Wyoming Medical Center, a forensic interviewer from the Children's Advocacy Project, a forensic biologist with the Wyoming State Laboratory, and the girl herself.
...

Apparently Martinez and his family were friends with the girl and the girl's parents, and the assault took place in the apartment bathroom of the girl's family. The girl says Martinez told her to keep it a secret, when the girl told her mother and the girl's mother confronted Martinez he told her the girl was lying and insulted the girl.

Why would the girl's family allow Martinez alone with the girl in the bathroom?

This is such a BS propaganda piece...

I would bet dollars to donuts. This took place in a residential bathroom.. AKA a place that makes the bathroom part totally irrelevant...

Talk about disgusting.. not as disgusting as an adult assaulting a child.. but disgusting none the less...

Also my statement about Martinez inviting the girl into the bathroom wasn't correct. The girl went into the bathroom by herself and didn't lock it, as she was about to leave Martinez entered the bathroom and raped her.

...
She went upstairs to get a book, went into the bathroom and closed but did not lock the door. She was pulling up her pants when Martinez came in without knocking, she said while being questioned by District Attorney Mike Blonigen.

Propaganda piece?... not really... What makes you think that this couldn't happen or hasn't happened in other cases in public restrooms?... Because it has happened.

Watch out, pretty soon comments like that will be illegal if the LGBT community gets their way.

Moving the yardstick further and further into depravity.

How far will the pendulum swing before the momentum reverses? Before the point of no return is reached?

Yep, it took place in the bathroom at the girl's family apartment and the perp was a family friend. So, this has nothing to do with Target, or Trans bathroom rights.

The perp is also a transgender who identifies as a woman, so yes it does have a lot to do with public bathrooms because if this hadn't happened in a private bathroom it could have happened in a public bathroom, just like in other cases it has happened in public bathrooms.

I suspected as much. That could have been a 100% straight male family friend and it would still have happened. Article is just to bash transgenders and the bathroom issue.

And the same thing could have happened, and has happened, if it were a straight male predator who went into a women's restroom and assaulted her there. I guess though, a straight male pedo is somehow more acceptable?

It happened in a private bathroom in a private home, not a public bathroom. Your point is therefore irreverent. Assault is assault.

But if a transgender identifies as a woman, wouldn't it be more likely that she would be more attracted to men, and not young girls?
