I've had that before, I may even have some in the cellar. There's a Total Wine in town and they have a fairly decent Italian selection.

You never know. There may be some cases where the smokey flavor ends up enhancing if the wine is done right.

It's a long shot, but it could happen.

Someone ought to be able to find a way to make something out of it.

Heck, they could always sell to the husband of my old college boss. He bought a load of composted manure, sealed it in glass long-necked bottles, dressed them in fancy labels with a ribbon around the neck and sold them for $5 each as "Prairie Kaka." So basically sh1t in a bottle and more than made back his investment.

Someone like that could maybe figure something out.

This is God punishing the elitist left tree huggers of California.

It use to be calif had fire breaks in the wooded areas and they also cleared ground cover and 12 to 16 feet up trees.

You can not even get building codes up dated requiring fire proof paint on out side of buildings.

www.flamestop.com...

Suprising that some people use these paints and you will see one home unburned with blocks around it the homes burned to the ground.

1).Just as what has been happening in other countries. Several fires brake out all at once between late night and early morning in California. The fires leave trees untouched by homes that are burned to the ground. Further many trees that are burning are burning from the inside out. With no real damage to the outer bark that normally would be the cause. The fact that they find one homeless man that may or may not have started one fire may be just coincidental. After the odd events of 9/11 damage. I wonder if one could do soil tests if this may be by microwaves. 2). Paranormal fires are rare but at least can be done by demonic spirits. 3). In the bible story of Joseph there were 7 good years followed by seven bad years. Noted in non bible sources. That out of no where *strange* fires were seen that destroyed every field of crops and nothing much grew back for 7 years. That is very odd.

What? This happens because people forget, California's largely a desert. These fires gro so large because of fire prevention and people moving to areas that have naturally burned for years. The brush dries and burns. God has nothing to do with it. Except of course, being absent. What a nice guy god is. . .

What the hell you know about grapes living in West Orange?

You can't even grow a tomato around there!

Quite a bit, we have our own vineyards in Italy.

And I can grow some pretty damn good tomatoes too.

Two words: Banfi Summus

One of my all time favorites - hands down.
