What does the mom say about the call?

If you are talking about the mother of the soldier, she verified he said it.

If you are talking about the wife, she was apparently crying when they got off the phone, and said "he doesn't even know his name".

*shrugs*

Who said they said that? Fredrica?

Like that's her real name.

Hey Fred, your pimp called and wants his hats back!

No Cowanda, you are disrespecting your son by disrespecting his Commander in Chief and his President.

I bet if Obama did the exact same thing Cowanda would have not said a word.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something about this post I find really scary.

Must be the truth hitting you.

I'm not sure what it is, but still it's scary. It's like something somebody in NK, or Iran or somewhere would say, I think.
Creepy.

Maybe I'm a Russian hacker?

Are you?

Not everyone who disagrees with your group think and rejects your false narratives is a Russian hacker.

What?

You're the one who brought up the possibility and asked the question about you being a Russian hacker.

I simply asked a follow up question.

Everything Trump does or says it to politicize something. He politicized this crap the instant he opened his mouth. Don't like it? Maybe you shouldn't have voted for an idiot.

Someone isn't paying attention, it was that race pimp who decided to turn this into a circus, dude.

Thanks for reposting those pictures. They're getting a lot of play!

If Trump's team hadn't called the media and told them that Trump was phoning the widow as she rode in the limo to receive her husband's remains, the media wouldn't have asked Congresswomen Wilson, who was a long time friend of the family riding with them, what Trump said in the first place.

You are right that a personal visit would have meant more for the family... but that's a logistical nightmare. Imagine the Secret Service shows up the day before to sweep your house for weapons and bugs, then you're under 24-hour surveillance until the whole neighborhood is blocked off for the motorcade, and finally, Trump arrives at your door, surrounded by Secret Service and cameras, talks to you a minute or two, then departs. A few hours later, the Secret Service finally departs.

Then the news reporters move in... droves of news reporters, each one willing to do anything to get you to answer inane questions. Every moment of your life for the next few days is under national scrutiny and is commented on by every pundit this side of Beijing.

All this happens while you are trying to deal with the worst possible news you could ever receive.

No, a phone call sometimes is more respectful. Even if it's a poorly worded one.

Who verified Trump didn't say it? He said others were in the room with him and heard the conversation, but none of them have come across to verify anything. Just him.

I don't understand why no one has interviewed the limo driver.

Trump screws up a lot. I don't think many people would deny that, and acknowledge the fact that he, and many others are not good at this sort of thing.

I heard someone speaking today who worked for Nixon. He said Nixon was terrible with sentimental comments and condolences, so he got others who were better at it to script what he would say when he called. No shame in that.

If you don't have any heart-felt comments, then borrow someone else's. It would be perfectly acceptable. Fake, but at least affect empathy.

Why didn't Trump do that? I'll tell you why. He's too freaking proud and cock-sure of himself to think he can do any wrong.
He doesn't learn from his mistakes, and I believe there is a word for people who don't learn from their mistakes.

Lol, she said, "Basically he said..."

So that's only her interpretation and why the driver has not been interviewed is because he will tell the truth.

I would imagine that the privacy window was up and the driver heard nothing.
