But this is exactly as was described by Trump Jr. Yes, he met her hoping for some dirt on Hillary (something that is not a crime, it's done by all in politics, all)

that is, in fact, a crime in this situation.

Then why isn't he in jail? He admitted to everything, and turned over all the documents. Plus there is the nagging issue of the Democrats doing essentially the same thing with the Steele Dossier. They just didn't buy it directly from the Russians, they had a middle man. (perhaps that is the key here?)

Don't confuse the Leftist's simple minds with real facts.
They cannot comprehend real facts. Never have...never will.

are you going to cite the statute that penalizes this situation as a crime? I am pretty sure the last time somebody did they cited a law about receiving gifts or money, specifically in reference to monetary value. Unfortunately, that does not fit this case. You are of course, welcome to cite said statues here and we can discuss whether it applies.

Larry Flynt offered ten million dollars for dirt on Trump, no doubt for his political rivals in 2018 and 2020. Has he broken any laws??

The hypocrisy of the two sides is very evident.

Like how one media source is the truth when it fits your personal narrative.

How about nobody actually knows anything but the actual investigators with the actual information.

To be absolutely clear, he admitted to an intention to commit an act of collusion.

Don't praise the little jack hole for it. He was willing to violate a pretty serious piece of law, just to get his idiot father a job he neither needed or deserved.

Which "serious piece of law" would that be?

Check this and this.
From the first link,

"A foreign national spending money to influence a federal election can be a crime," Persily said. "And if a U.S. citizen coordinates, conspires or assists in that spending, then it could be a crime."

I guess I missed the part where Jr. coordinated, conspired or assisted a foreign national in spending money to influence a federal election.
Do we even have proof that the lawyer had the intention of affecting a federal election? Her memo would indicate that the answer is 'no'.

Anytime the government's narrative suffers, I feel a glimmer of hope. I almost missed this thread though because I had no clue who Don Jr. was referring to. Glad I clicked anyways though.

See, that's the problem with propaganda, it makes it tough to see where the truth is. If they only reported lies, 100% of the time you'd know you could never trust what they said. But they weave truth in there to keep you on the line. The truth will hold over time but the fake narrative crumbles when there's close scrutiny. Here we can see that phenomenon. The truth (what don jr. said) has proven itself out. The fake narrative (that the meeting was about sabotaging hillary illegally) has been put to bed.

That is categorically false.

You have fallen for the echo chamber.

There is no proof either way.

None.

Sure there is. Trump says trump tower was wire tapped, media laughs and mercilessly ridicules him for saying such a thing. Six months later, media reports trump tower was tapped. Not echo chamber, one way they were lying to cover their biases, the other way they were reporting the news.

Hell, the new york times came out and admitted they carried water for weinstein. So did SNL, they said it was because he was a new yorker, yet trump is a new yorker and do you see them carrying his water? There's an echo chamber alright, but it slants hard left.

Echo chamber.

Trump tower was not wire tapped.

His crook buddy in the tower was. Make no mistake people are going down and getting indicted. Maybe not Trump but most of you don't understand the judicial process and that no information from Mueller investigations foes not mean there isn't any. He isn't supposed to release info.

All of you on both sides hang on every echo chamber media speculation. It's hilarious.
