Well, foreign policy magazine has gotten their hands on the memo that the russian lawyer brought to the (now famous) meeting with don jr. and what would you know, there's nothing about clinton. What there is a lot of, is magnitsky act lobbying. Behold, the russian narrative continues its crumbling. Notice all of the 25th amendment talk? Why do you think that is? I'll tell you why, they've got nothing on the "russia" front so they're moving on to their next mode of attack (which will also fail miserably).

From the article:

Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya arrived at a June 2016 meeting with Donald Trump Jr. armed with a set of talking points arguing American officials were hoodwinked into slapping human rights sanctions on Russia in 2012 and that efforts to expand those measures would hurt relations between Washington and Moscow.

According to her talking points, obtained by Foreign Policy, Veselnitskaya made the case that the American businessman Bill Browder perpetrated a massive scheme of tax fraud against the Russian state and then launched a global campaign claiming that his companies had in fact been defrauded by Russian officials — and that they had killed the lawyer Sergei Magnitsky in order to cover it up.

It must really hurt for those lefties here to continually be proved incorrect and have their hopes and dreams of impeachment smashed into the floor. There was no russian "collusion." Trump won because he was the better candidate, plain and simple.

So in other words, this Russian woman tricked Don Jr into a meeting so she can talk the act with him.

Thats great, except for the e-mails and documents which clearly indicate, without any ambiguity, that Don Junior took the meeting because he thought he was getting dirt on his fathers political rival, not because of any other motive whatsoever.

I mean, this is great and all, but the meeting as it has been described, was arranged with the specific understanding on Donnie's part, that there would be something to report to his father, on the matter of Clinton at the end of it.

But this is exactly as was described by Trump Jr. Yes, he met her hoping for some dirt on Hillary (something that is not a crime, it's done by all in politics, all) but the "Russian" he met with thought she was there to talk about her own agenda. What it sounds like is this was a set up to be used exactly as it was, but they didn't count on Trump Jr. being up front and releasing everything he had on it.

Exactly. Neither party knew what the other thought the meeting was about. Doesn't that seem odd to people?

There is no proof of that...just speculation by people not involved in the investigation.

There is no proof either way.

To be absolutely clear, he admitted to an intention to commit an act of collusion.

Don't praise the little jack hole for it. He was willing to violate a pretty serious piece of law, just to get his idiot father a job he neither needed or deserved.

that is, indeed, the salient point. just because he didn't actually GET dirt doesn't mean he didn't go for the purpose of getting dirt. and a memo about the magnitsky act doesn't prove he didn't get dirt, either.

that is, in fact, a crime in this situation.

Police work internationally all the time to catch criminals. Trump Jr. meeting with Natalia to get criminal information on Hillary is patriotism, not collusion. If Hillary did murder Seth Rich, the information coming from a Russian citizen is just as important as the information coming from an American citizen.

What? When did Trump become a police officer?

You just described a vigilante at best which is illegal.

are you going to cite the statute that penalizes this situation as a crime? I am pretty sure the last time somebody did they cited a law about receiving gifts or money, specifically in reference to monetary value. Unfortunately, that does not fit this case. You are of course, welcome to cite said statues here and we can discuss whether it applies.

Larry Flynt offered ten million dollars for dirt on Trump, no doubt for his political rivals in 2018 and 2020. Has he broken any laws??

Wait a second, are you saying that the media has an agenda and made up stories in order to deceive the American public!?!?!?

Further more are you saying that all of the liberals who screamed about this meeting were duped because of their bias's!?!?!?

Yup pretty much standard practice for those who do not understand how the deep state work.

Why not? Anyone can uphold the law. Even a private citizen could. In fact, police routinely depend on private citizens to inform them and help catch criminals.

Just so you will be as vocal about ANY politician who does the same. Continuity and all.

So did this media make up a story or since it fits a narrative you believe it's true?

Then why isn't he in jail? He admitted to everything, and turned over all the documents. Plus there is the nagging issue of the Democrats doing essentially the same thing with the Steele Dossier. They just didn't buy it directly from the Russians, they had a middle man. (perhaps that is the key here?)
