To create the illusion that legitimate movement is being made in the story/investigation. Buying time, essentially. They'll have another red herring to throw at us soon, no doubt.

I don't think this is strange at all, I think FBI and LVPO wanted him on TV to see if he messed up his story. His lawyer or hotel thought nope.

Good freakin Lord... How much more can they botch this damn story! Campos, or whoever is pictured, most definitely has an injured left leg. So unless he is toughing it out and putting his weight on his bad leg then this definitely muddies the water more.

Yeah it's so weird that Hickey would specifically identify the right leg as being injured -- and he is clearly in contact with Campos, with the SPFPA 'representing' him PR-wise -- when it was actually his left leg.

Just another thing to give off the whiff of utter BS.

Kind of thinking Campos is just holding the cane in that hand in order to hold the award with his dominant hand. You can tell he is putting his weight on the cane and left leg in the pic so as to lean and keep weight off the right.

Disagree. It looks like he is putting his weight on the right leg, to me, and has the left raised slightly to keep weight off of it. The left leg also looks like it could be bandaged under his pants because it is so much fuller.

Also, I don't know why he couldn't hold the plaque in his left hand, even if it's not the dominant hand, when he can clearly hold a cane in that hand.

Everything about the pic says the wounded leg is the left one.

This is not a huge hole or anything...could have been a simple error. But I just happened to notice it because I filed it in my head that Campos was struck in the right leg.

Not sure when this was taken, but here is a new photo of Campos I had not yet seen:

pbs.twimg.com...:large

Anyone know who he is pictured with and when this was supposed to have been taken?

I don't know but that picture looks photoshopped. Some of the heads don't look they belong to their bodies.

Huh.....I was just posting last night, on another site, about this guy, and asking where he was, since he seems to not be registered as a security guard in Nevada. Been wondering about him from the beginning, to be honest. When we weren't given a time, till quite recently, for when he was actually hit, and then everything started changing, he seemed suspicious.

Now, not registered, and he's vanished?

Huh.....

I know what I a thinking, and it's not a new thought!! I'll just say this; by what method could one slip out, of they were a second person in that hotel suite?

So now what has happened? This guy is supposed to do an interview and never shows up? Things just keep getting stranger and stranger. I feel the FBI is trying to cover something up.

Where in the world is Jesus Campos?
The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said.
Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.

My bullcrap meter is pegged right now.

Fox News Source

A theory on the shooting I read earlier would be a good reason to skip...

EACH ONE OF THOSE GUNS WERE SUPPOSED TO GO TO A DIFFERENT MEMBER OF THE ISIS CELL. THEY ALL HAD DIFFERENT ROOMS AT DIFFERENT HOTEL/CASINOS. THEY WERE ALL GOING TO CARRY OUT AN ATTACK AT THE SAME TIME. 20+ SHOOTERS ALL ATTACKING AT ONCE. PADDOCK AND CAMPOS HAD A MEETING WHERE PADDOCK GOT A CHANGE OF HEART SO CAMPOS KILLED HIM FOR IT AND CARRIED OUT AT LEAST HIS PART OF THE MISSION. THEN HE SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG AND BLAMED PADDOCK. THIS IS WHY FBI IS QUIET. THERE ARE STILL 20+ ISIS MEMBERS IN THE LOOSE WHO WANNA # # UP.

And his pic

Been thinking that for days now!!! Long before we heard he isn't a registered guard in Nevada, and before the timeline change. That pic....why is it I doubt his name is even what we are told it is?

If this picture were really from a news outlet, wouldn't there be an internet trail? With this picture there is not trail, not in GOOGLE Images nor Tineye...Where did this picture come from?

I find that I'm getting more and more uncomfortable with this.

Have you ever been really uncomfortable being around a person, only to find out that they are actually doing something wrong, and really uncomfortable about you finding out, and you are reflecting their anxiety?

I find that the 'authorities' (main law enforcement players) make me feel like I'm in trouble for talking about this, and questioning them. From the sheriff, to the FBI fellow, to the guy guarding Campos' house. We, the public, need to sit down and shut up and obey the story they're feeding us.

That's not right. When a truthful witness is talking, you don't feel trouble or fear. When shady sh!t is going on, your spine sends you messages.

No real evidence here. I'm just completely not buying the story.

If they're lying, then we're dealing with a much larger problem - the shooting is just one event in something much bigger.

Hope I'm wrong.

Looking again, you are correct...his left leg does appear to have a brace or something under the pant leg...nice catch.

Interesting theory.

The only problem is that he was reported to have been shot 6 minutes before the shooting into the crowd, right?
Or could that be a lie???

Who knows. I suspect we'll never know.

Two more things.

1. Everyone I talk with about this, from neighbors to friends to this site and others, all say this is concerning and very strange. Very few people say "Oh calm down, it's exactly as the news reports are saying." Everyone I know (and I'm the nutter in my clique) is feeling off about this.

///// edit: I take back what I wrote below. It looks like his suit coat is just moved outward by his arm, so it's his coat under his hand. Looks oddly clean, but it's not Photoshopped or anything else...

2. Campos photo with award: if you right-mouse click on the image, and click View Image, and then use CRTL and + several times, you'll see a big version of that image. I do think something is Photoshopped just under his hand. Or, it's a hat. But it looks more like they're hiding something (like he's armed).

How could rounds fly down the hallway unless the shooter was in the hallway? I thought those '200 rounds' came thru the door? Totally BS story!

Perhaps he was......

We know two people were in the hallway, according to this report.

When Campos approached Paddock's suite, the shooter "fired through the door, striking Mr. Campos in the upper right thigh," said Hickey who is president of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America.

This pic seems to show it's his left leg that's injured. His left leg looks like it's bandaged or has a cast under his pants and he is holding the cane on his left side.

Good catch! Certain it was stated that his right leg was the one injured, too.

More and more questions, no answers, and he's missing.

That black thing he is carrying in his hand looks like a ski mask...You can see where his finger kind of disappears into an eye hole or the mouth hole. Can anyone else verify that?

My guess would be stage fright, on the biggest night of his acting career.

Why? Campos was to be painted a hero on Hannity and Hannity is soliciting funds to pay for Hospital bills. Lastly, Campos has faced death with 200 rounds shot at him and his leg hit. So a TV appearance would tramatize him more than facing death!?

actually when you walk with a cane it is on your GOOD side and helps carry your weight..which then helps the injured side
