WHY would this guy not bang it out with the cops???

Murder suicide. Shoot out with the cops might end in only being wounded and captured to stand trial.

He made sure he didn't survive.

Only too obvious he planned to kill as many people as possible, taking as many with him as he could. Most mass murder sprees end this way.

Paddock was FBI agent involved in a sting to supply Isis with weapons and then catch them. Hence the cameras. Isis got wind and crashes the deal then shot people up. Isis armed still on the run in vegas.

Fact or fiction.

So what I want to know is why wasn't their armed quick response team triggered to take care of automatic gun fire within their building?

Even though gun fire was originating in the hotel, it was directed outside it, hundreds of yards away. Additionally from high up in the hotel, at night, from two different facing sides of the building, with different caliber weapons. Very well thought out rain of confusion designed to thwart security as much as possible, as long as possible.

Are you kidding me? "200" rounds were fired at a security guard before shooting outside. That has to do with internal issues and saftey of guests, not least the saftey of those outside. The security knew what was going on, its just a question why they didn't respond.

"200" rounds were fired at a security guard before shooting outside.

Hosing down the hallway would guarantee Paddock a few uninterrupted minutes while "security' backed off and dialed 911.

After that, it would be over an hour before they entered the room. Because they knew they were up against automatic weapons fire, because he fired bursts thru the door.

Brave lad you are , ordering 'security' to certain death against automatic weapons, down a long hallway, behind locked doors.

It seems like someone at the top of government is withholding info from these officials, but they have to say something at the briefings. They're very frustrated.

That's pretty much the vibe I've been getting too.
