Wonder how the worlds govt's will go after digital currency, its a pipe dream to think they will not get their hooks into it at some point.

For those that invested in it I hope you get out before that happens.

I still believe at least one governmental agency is behind it in some fashion.

It's almost too perfect, create a digital currency an explain it as a anonymous way to buy and sell things, but really having created the concept, understand that there are formulas you can use to decrypt a hashcode to a ip address or something like this.

Kinda like how Tor was created by the US Navy and isn't as " hidden " as many think.

Oh look at that, BTC is at an All Time High again, from last week... 6k.... Ding Ding Ding! War drums in the distance? Might climb higher... Can we say 10k + by the time we start war with NK?

That makes a lot of sense to me, but then I am fairly ignorant on the digital currency, I have friends telling me how much better it is than fiat currency.

Seems to me they both have the same problem of not being backed by anything but hopes and dreams and promises.

Bitcoin skips 12k, wades into 13k just before diving into 14k.

I'm expecting a big pullback.

a friend just invested over the weekend into bitcoin after having lunch with someone who’s brother just sold out and made 25 million GBP

the reason he invested a little money he can afford to loose on a big gamble is his very wealthy friend told him Old school money was behind Bitcoin

When will this bubble burst?

At this point there is all sorts of money behind it. Wall St. is coming soon and personally, I think the tech is already antiquated. Watching it rise is historic I think.

I don't think it's in a bubble yet. Mania still.

Fiat is the bubble. The bitcoin bubble will pop when every person in the world has a cell phone and is able to buy bitcoin.

There are still less than 1% of the population in bitcoin. These will be the new 1%ers. This is like the hand of God reaching down and bitch slapping the central banking system.

The Bitcoin market was/is being manipulated, hence the value ride.

From what I understand a couple of large buy orders were put out which causes price rises.

It's just a few people(likely banks or big inveators) trying to make some quick money.

The same happens in the stock and ahares markets all the time.
