As a collective, you've worn me out.

I find myself drifting towards reddit now a days, I used to love reading the 2012 doom porn back before I signed up. Then all these crazy but well worded theories. Sometimes I would venture to the politics forum to get a weekly dose of what was happening over the pond mainly but now?

Log on at work, open browser, ATS tab (demoted to 4th tab now), click.. "Trump trump trump"... sometimes I get the energy to read, sometimes post. But I have found myself beginning to hate myself just for posting. I come across far more right than I truly am (if you knew me, you would think I was living in a hippy love in world). People becoming more and more toxic because some moron with stupid hair is in charge (please note, this could in fact be any world leader in theory... apart from Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović....) said something on twitter and "omg guys read between the lines, he wants to kill all blacks" (I wish I kept the link to that tweet)


Part of me feels I should just leave until he is out of office, come back and hopefully people would go back to what this site was good at, completely insane theories that if said in 3 to 4 lines would sound stupid, but they had enough videos and "proof" to back it up, it was half way believable and fun to read.

I don't think I've ever agreed with you so much. I have to pinch myself sometimes (not literally) to not get drawn in and remember that it's all a show.

Oh the worst of it is that you get a topic that isn't about Trump, and about five or six posts in, someone comes along and complains about Trump.

It is, but it's like no one understands their complaints are the same ones others had previously about the other guy. And then others before them had about W and so on and so forth.

Putting the gripe forward as if it's all new and unprecedented ... it's just stop it and understand our pain. Share our experience and maybe we can all move forward from this.
