Just to play devils advocate most people don't realize the 3rd verse of the national anthem which is not recited celebrates the killing of slaves. I would say that gives all African Americans a legitimate gripe toward the national anthem without a fool calling them unpatriotic. How about we not use an anthem that celebrated racism and slavery. Just my 2 cents..

Sorry this is just tying into the Howard Zinn Communist brand hatred of America. Why not pay attention to Dinesh DSouza the guy from Bangladesh.

Ah playing into the powers that be identity politics I see.
It's nothing to do with identity politics. Done overuse that word to apply to anything you don't like or understand. I leave identity politics to the Marxists who
Hate America and want to bring in the One World Communist Superstate.

The irony.

You just used identity politics with your Marxist statement.

Good job.

I think he wants to be one....

And nothing in his past shows he cares about America.

From his Chinese products to destroying cities with failed casinos ..

He is scum imo.

A guy like Ron Paul would actually have the record to prove such a thing.

Funny Ron doesn't like trump much.
Well as much as I like Ron Paul, some of his supporters also got into the habit of blaming the US for everything. There are worldwide leaders involved in this. Just look at who
Goes to Bilderbergs.

You are an articulate man. I'm surprised you cannot see that the election of Trump was a move of desperation by the average American.

We want, desperately, for things to change here. He was the only wild card offered. People gambled and this is what they got.

Can you honestly blame Americans for trying, in the only way they can, to "drain the swamp"?

We are trapped in quicksand with no sign of rescue. I'm asking you not to be so judgmental about our situation. We have no control over it.

The issue is, tax payer money was used by Trump and Pence to pull off a political stunt in opposition to the silent kneelers at the football game. The Vice President didn't fly to the match to 'watch a football game'. He flew there, all the way, on the tax payers dime, to get up and leave, on purpose, as the players began to kneel. Trump did this as a jab to the players. He used tax payer money to do this.

Ummmm... So 1+1 = 34? Just because I point out that spending tax money on going to a football game is stupid in itself, doesn't mean I don't care about the rest of that stuff. Of course I think it's all a waste as well. I never argued that it was okay.

Why can tax dollars be allocated to fly a politician to a football game? That doesn't sound like good spending at all.

Funny how liberals all of a sudden care about spending, when it was last thing o mind during Obama admin, evidently liberals can't be taught manners, and have to use extremes against them, like that fly you can't swat

So when did Obama use tax dollars to go to a sports event?

When he attended bulls games hes a huge fan. He also attended baseball games as well. Isnt it funny when people are only outraged when its the other party.

www.fox5ny.com...

I don't see anything about using taxpayer money to pay for it. Either way I don't care if it's a dem or repub, neither one should be spending taxpayer money on sports, so if I hear about it, I will mention it, no matter who does it. If Obama did it, it's just as bad and certainly doesn't excuse Pence. It's like you guys just make excuses for things, but your argument is a complete non sequitur.

The NFL owners came out and said no protests to the anthem. And now league rules were made which will fine players and possible suspension and if a team continues loss of draft choices. So now its over

This is false. Roger Goodell said that they would DISCUSS this issue. No rules have yet been made. NFL players are contractors, not employees, Goodell can't make a rule like that without bringing it to the players association.

Who cares. So over this kneeling crap honestly. There's so many more important problems in the country/world why is this front page everywhere I go? oh wait mainstream media is GOD. It's almost as if this thread is feeding the all might God TROLL

It's because people are so butthurt over it. They argue and argue about how PC stuff is ruining America, then the second something offends them, they go crazy over it and demand legions of followers to boycott a business over a few people not standing for the anthem and turn the whole thing into disrespecting the military, while completely ignoring the actual issue. Funny if a liberal is offended by racist or prejudiced behavior, they are labeled a snowflake, but the second you offend religion or blind patriotism they cry a friggin river over it. Complete hypocrisy. Trump's entire campaign was built on the idea of not giving in to whiners and complainers, and if you are offended TOO BAD. It's just comical watching them do a complete 180 on that.

Perhaps you don't understand. Impeachment is a vote. They vote with a simple majority.

Maybe you don't understand that they have to have a good reason to impeach. Hurting liberals feelings isn't a good reason.

If its an act of desperation, then why do so many of your countrymen still swear blind that they made the right call, even as the swamp gets deeper?

People are still gung ho for Trump, even as he proves how incompetent a leader he really is, by Tweeting all but a declaration of war against North Korea, whenever his blood pressure spikes, by attempting to destroy a national institution because he does not like the way that some people within it operate their first amendment rights, or any of the other ridiculous, petty, pathetic, weak and ignoble things he has done lately. Those people are not talking about their choice, made in desperation.

Its either MAGA or nothing. Explain to me, where the desperation is in that quarter. Explain that away. These people are as average as can be, and they are STILL sucking down the Kool-Aid as if they were behind in the damned space race! Its not desperation, its DELUSION!

For those of you unaware, an update.

NFL policy on anthem kneeling unchanged, despite Trump rebuke

National Football League officials weighed the fervor of players protesting racism against U.S. President Donald Trump’s anger at their autumn meeting on Tuesday with supporters of the players kneeling outside in solidarity.

www.reuters.com...

Are we going to send Pence to a few more football games now to get up and walk away again?

What a complete waste. Christ.
