Pretty easy to avoid war if you pay enough ransom.

We paid billions to our biggest threats in past administrations.

freebeacon.com...

PS, ransom payments are a proven failed policy. (Don’t tell)

Oh just little things like Clinton's agreement to allow them to develop nuclear power as long as they never developed nuclear weapons with it.

Remarks on the Nuclear Agreement With North Korea
October 18, 1994

Good afternoon. I am pleased that the United States and North Korea yesterday reached agreement on the text of a framework document on North Korea's nuclear program. This agreement will help to achieve a longstanding and vital American objective: an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula...

www.presidency.ucsb.edu...

Under the agreement, North Korea has agreed to freeze its existing nuclear program and to accept international inspection of all existing facilities.

which they have done until the treaty ended.
just like the one for Iran. the IAEA makes all calls over violations.
agreement ended in 2002, after which NK was not part of any proliferation as of 2003.

Granted using Twitter in his current seat is not a good thing but where is he wrong?

Some of you need to lay off the tv and breath. Jesus... every one just needs to clam down a little bit...

That's just my opinion and this one has value.

every nation has the right to defend its people.
whether it is with military, diplomacy, or nuclear, the responsibility of the government is to protect the people.

the u.s. has a history of removing leaders from sovereign nations, disrupting their economy, and placing leaders in place who are supportive of the u.s. can anyone really blame north korea or iran or any nation to want to have the tools to defend themselves from the u.s. war machine?

diplomacy and economic relations would better serve the world.

no more war.

Yup, you are right! We got rid of Hitler, Mussolini, and Saddam Hussein. Do you have an issue?

hitler and mussolini were already involved in war when japan attacked pearl harbor. the u.s. did not preemptive strike germany or italy or japan. the u.s. defended itself against an aggressive nation.

saddam hussein (iraq) did not attack the u.s.

Happy that you agree we have the right to defend ourselves. Now the remaining issue is at what point? When the missiles are built, when they are tested, when they are launched or when they explode. The U.N. Security Council believes now would be a great time for NK to discontinue their bad actions. That is a lot more thoughtful group with vastly greater insight than you.

My comment was pointed at your unreasoned support for NK.

I feel an attack on NK is coming soon.

Trump just can't hold a secret like that...his comment with the generals about this being "the calm before the storm" and now this tweet...I think the moron is going to attack NK.

If it got people believing then he has accomplished tearing down Obama's wussy foreign policy where drawn lines are crossed, actions are telegraphed to your enemies in detail 6 months in advance and nobody takes you seriously enough to want to negotiate fairly.

At least we don't have to read some pundit's interpretation of what some media outlet thinks he said; or what some so-called journalist reported that "sources close to the White House" said he said.

If you want to know what our president thinks, read his tweets either at @POTUS or @realDonaldTrump. He's talking directly to you, so you don't have to guess why he is going to do whatever it is he decides to do.

We defend against nuke missiles pointed at us by a madman, you are correct. Take his missiles away either the easy way by getting him to agree to abandon them or the easier way, press a few buttons and his whole nation goes boom taking them off the table.

Trump can tweet and go to rallys and make a total fool of himself because he isn't in control anymore.
He's just an attention whore and his fan base gives it to him, that's all he cares about.

The Military is just letting Trump run his mouth. The real power is now in control and Trump aint it....

Perhaps the old adage "the best defense is a good offense" is applicable here?

how many other nations have missles pointed at the u.s.?
using this logic we should bomb most of the nuclear capable nations on the planet.

Trump talked about how the previous leadership talked too much and lost the element of surprise. Now he seems to be doing the same.
