New evidence may suggest Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was not alone in hotel room

So some new evidence is released that may imply the room was accessed by another individual.

Investigators are looking into two key pieces of evidence that seem to suggest that Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was not entirely alone in his Mandalay Bay hotel room.

Senior law enforcement officials told NBC News that they have made two discoveries in Paddock's 32nd-floor hotel room that they currently cannot explain.

The first is a cell phone charger that does not match any of the devices that belonged to the gunman.

The second is a hotel record showing that one of Paddock's key cards was used to access his room while his car was outside of the hotel's parking garage.

The first piece, while not irrelevant, doesn't seem to be a damning piece of evidence. He could have had a burner device he got rid of. Explaining a device charger not matching any of Paddock's found electronics.

The second however seems to stand out a bit more. Depending on the timing of when that room was accessed while it appeared Paddock was away is an intriguing question.

If it was while he had the room stocked with his weapons, it begs the question if it was someone who had knowledge of the plot. Why would he trust someone with that kind of access?

Like I said in another thread, I'm still not willing to accept the second shooter theory. I'm not even willing to accept that this person was an accomplice. However, police need to find this mystery woman ASAP.

Who is the source?

I am still thinking this man was dead before any guns were even chambered.

The articles I read never said or seemed to imply this was in connection to the mystery woman. But there are cameras all over that casino, so I'm sure they at least saw if there was another individual, and what they looked like.

I doubt we'll be filled in further until they locate said individual(s). Which, if they released this, they are close if there are one or more. I don't see why they'd let them know they're on their trail ahead of contact.

In the main thread we have talked about this endlessly.

The pictures of him on the street with another woman (not marylou)
The receipts with meals and drinks for 2.
The room service cart having 2 wineglasses, and 2 dinner plates on it.
The fact that the adjoining room with the window broken out, WAS LOCKED FROM THE OTHER SIDE so therefore how could he have been the one shooting out of it?
The 3 newer videos displaying audio that appears to have different weapons firing at once.

Someone got out of there after the security guard was shot, and before SWAT arrived

The charger could have been lost by a previous occupant in that suite. Hence the cleaning staff didn't find it, but a minute fingertip examination of the room after the shooting did.

The other item, about the car being accessed, doesn't lend itself to such innocent explanations.

Well atleast one gun was chambered before his death...

So the press conference they just held says the key card thing didn't happen or they aren't speaking about it. What was the source here?

He may have had a burner phone that he just chucked out the window to be lost with the tons of debris and dropped items on the street from the panic.

We will never know

It's interesting that we have not heard any more about the video footage obtained by the security cameras throughout the hotel.

What has Law Enforcement said about this aspect of their investigation?

In today's day and age if they really are worried she will run and that is the reason they should have involved the public before now. It's way too late...its all over the place and a billboard? I'm sorry but this isn't the 90's. The public could help if the release a pic and ask.

Yes probably and what is she thinking?? She should turn herself in quick hiding from this is not a good idea, they aren't going to care that she's a sex worker. If they have to track her down they arent going to be happy. I guess if it was me I wouldnt trust them either, I have a great distrust for law enforcement.

He might have actually talked to her...if he frequents sex workers and is usually closed lip maybe he confides in them.

Or he drops the burner phone in a trash can somewhere before he heads up to his room. Or leaves it on a bus benchoto be picked up by Joe Blow and really confuse the investigation if they are working backwards from another contact trying to pin it on him. Or, or, or.
