Appetite for Destruction was released 30 years ago in July. The single Welcome to the Jungle 30 years ago this week:

I first heard this while driving and had to pull over. Blew my mind after the inane rock of the 80's. I just can't believe it's been 30 years.

I know its the wrong album but damm I have always just loved this song. From the good old no pc days.

That was just awesome.. I saw GNR and Metallica and Metallica opened. I remember being surprised that Metallica was not the headliner.

Only got to see them once and luckily someone filmed it , great show but sadly two people died in the crush when the started hence the confusion at the beginning.
Scary , awesome and sad all rolled into one.

30 years eh , how time flies.
