Does this guy being involved with ISIS make the actions any more or less repugnant?
Would his involvement with ISIS have made it illegal for him to purchase firearms?
Will we be more at war with ISIS now?

Do you really think Trump and the Deep State are against each other? Well What if they are puppets for the very top? Trump is more like controlled opposition a la Emmanuel Goldstein.

Or appears to oppose to have desired effect of dividing americans against each other. A holdover skill learned from his trash talking days as a WWE Promoter.

Divide and Rule.

Yes they are.

And as the days go by, I think the whole picture will become less blurry.

But I also imagine a giant cover up

The denial is strong here.

Very strong.

Denial about what?
Maybe you could enlighten us with your first hand inside information as to the motive?

Since you edited out the first part of my post.

You know.

Wrong.
I replied before you edited it.

You got a link saying that he was a NRA member?
I have not seen that story anywhere yet.

Anything but a right wing nutjob, right?

Pretty sure right wing nutjobs don't go to BLM and anti-trump protests. There are videos and photos of Paddock at these events.

The agenda being promoted that the shooter didn't act alone, 'had help', opens the 'possibility' of blaming Isis, North Korea, the Russians, whatever, to keep those debates alive in Social Media, ongoing.

Was it a terrorist attack? Yes it was an act of Domestic Terrorism.

My spidey sense says the same thing.

There are pics and vids of blurry unconfirmed identity white men at these protests, yes.

No, it won't be less repugnant, but it would make the incident more understandable. When people just wave their hands and say "He's nuts" or "He snapped", that's not an answer. That's intellectual laziness that is used to avoid the effort required to to understand what happened.

Still waiting for the link that says he was a NRA member.

Ok say he was an NRA member...I will go you one better, if you want to spin a sci-fi tale....I say he was a Leftist plant in the NRA to further the gun control agenda.

The point here is that the truth is important mate.

The truth has always been important.

The reason our world is in the state that it's in is because the truth has become a casualty to power.

So there would still be footage of him entering the casino and going up the elevator with several bags packed with almost 2 dozen firearms inside. Even if the firearms were disassembled, they would be in multiple bags, and he would show signs of strain hauling them around, not to mention the several thousand rounds of ammo

He may have been a member of the NRA.

But it carries about as much weight as Jeffrey Dalmer was a democrat.

This is a huge point.

Those gun cases are very heavy, as is ammunition.

There's just no way he lugged them up to his room y himself without being noticed.

The guy is 64 years old and mostly sat on his butt playing video poker.

Excellent point.

We need to understand. But I'm starting to think the truth will elude us--as always.

Do your own research.

And yes, you would think that, because, you know...

Denial.

When your government is a lying sack of shi#, you don't write off anything.

This guy was a security guard for Mandalay.

Believe it or don't, but we don't throw away claims from real people on a scene. They usually hold the truth.

It's the government who throws the truth down the drain.

Did you learn nothing from the Kennedy assasination? Ever heard of the Zapruder film?

Yeah you are pretty much right.
But I am fixated on Jefferton's post because he is trying to spin that as some kind of motive.
Ya know....the delusion that every NRA member is a gun toting lunatic that the deranged Leftists have tried to paint the past 4 days.

Nobody is in denial here.

Quite the opposite.

A lot of us are working hard to understand what happened. We're not just making broad proclamations like you are. It's not about politics----or party lines.

It's about the truth.
