I saw Sage Francis on Saturday night here in Austin. It was a pretty good show. I'm not feeling his flow entirely, but his lyrics have pretty good content. My friend asked me to join him at the show...so it's not like I know much about him. I really liked his line, "I leave critics stumped like rainforests." Sad but true. lol

thing is, he's definitely ahead of his time! His voice is too raspy n harsh to get mainstream. its like what 2pac said in his last interview.. telling biggie to "rap for the women", cos the "nig*s will buy what the women buy" which is commercial hiphop. Ive said this on rtj.net etc, canibus dont to rhyme non stop bout illuminati etc, cos most his fans already know bout that stuff, and read up on it.
