John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats has a good TDC

as well as Moon Hooch and Reggie Watts

I love that series.

also, there is a channel called La Blogetheque, they have a series called Take Away Shows.

some of those are really amazing, they feature artists and bands recording stripped down versions, usually outside, and mostly in France I believe.

The Yeasayer one is really good, as well as the Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes segments.

Okkervil River too.
