I saw a couple articles about him in my surfing... and additional info in comments here.

One thing that has since stuck out to me was that he was reported to be doing his normal rounds at the time when he saw a door ajar, and found the killer. But I'm not sure if it was the killer's door, or another door.

I'll post any I find if I run across them again.

There was a stairwell right outside his room... I bet the 308 is on the roof or at a higher vantage point in the hotel. Unless someone found it and it hasn't been turned over yet

ETA- I'm not suggesting that law enforcement hasn't considered that yet

I can see that. He may not have expected to be found so quickly, and thought he move from vantage point to vantage point and further confuse everyone while extending his killing spree.

So a guy with 2 planes, one of them in the hands of a DOD contractor for the last 3 years is just some guy that snapped and killed abunch of people? Right....

Some one is trying to push a false narrative. This is a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy with some serious legs.

Imo this was an arms selling sting that went south and is now trying to be covered up.

BREAKING: Users on /pol/ have discovered flight records and a plane that belonged to the Las Vegas Shooter. It is connected to an intelligence contractor who's owner previously worked for the Obama administration.

Hmm, I wonder WHAT connection - was it used by an intelligence contractor whilst under the ownership of Paddock, or did Paddock just buy it from the guy?

He made not one but two complaints about noise coming from the room below, the night before:

He was there to play, not to party. The night before the shooting, Mr. Paddock made two complaints to the hotel about noise coming from his downstairs neighbors: Albert Garzon, a restaurant owner visiting from San Diego, and his wife and friends. Mr. Garzon, who was staying in 31-135, directly beneath Mr. Paddock, said security guards knocked on his door around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday and asked him to turn down his music, country songs. When he asked where the complaint was coming from, pointing out that the nearest rooms on either side were far away, the security guard said, “It’s the guest above you.”

They turned the music down, but had another visit from different security guards half an hour later. The man had called to complain again. Mr. Garzon turned the music off. It wasn’t until the early hours of Monday that Mr. Garzon realized Mr. Paddock had been the complainer.

.

I couldn't help but notice that he complained twice in the middle of the night about the guest in the room below him, who was playing COUNTRY music. Then I start wondering if maybe the next night, when that loud country music was going on in the parking lot across from his room, he just snapped.

Dudemo, how about dudeNO!

I'm sure his two complaint calls were to thrown off staff should they be alerted because they'd already have a room on their hotlist, so to speak.

As I said before: this guy's real source of income is gun running. The planes with connections to shady intelligence types really aren't hard to explain.

Ok, here is the plane registration detail
uk.flightaware.com...

Paddock looks like he sold it in 2010 to USH Inc.
It was then sold to a John W Rogers
..and then sold to Volant LLC, who own it now.
John W Rogers is connected to Volant also.

Volant LLC is where the link to the intelligence community is, but there was no direct link between them and Paddock (one owner in between).

AndyFromMichigan made the same suggestion -- here.

This is the first I've considered it, and it fits. I cannot and therefore will not discount it.

The Women didn't actually disappear, but it did make me think of that story also, an alien hybrid waiting to be triggered.

Payout tables have everything to do with a machines payout percentage and that's about all. There is no such thing as a successful professional video poker player, and anyone that gambles either for fun or for a living will tell you the same.

I'm honestly curious about the isis correlation myself, they have a big presence in the Philippines.

The big secret is:

The slot machines and other casino games do not pay true odds back to a winning bet.

Some games pay better, but never true odds.

That's why those big casinos makes millions in profits.

So Paddock sold it to USH Inc in February 2010. I believe "USH" is "University Student Housing," which hooks up host families with foreign students. (Many unfavorable reviews too it seems) About 10 months later, USH sold it to one John W Rogers of Roanoke VA. Just shy of three years later, the title transferred from John W Rogers to Vollant LLC, but according to this Reddit thread,, Rogers is Vollant LLC.

one of the dudes listed registered between Paddock and Volant is the same name as the owner of the non-badassed Volant... though I havent yet discovered exactly what lil Volant LLC does... Volant owns another different 2004 CIRRUS DESIGN CORP SR20... this one has a tail number N145AW registered around the same time.

I haven't read the entire thread yet, but if/when I do and if I find anything interesting or further enlightening, I'll post it.

Yes, I did start thinking about him! The guy in Pacific Palisades...

There was also a guy arrested in Vegas earlier this year (April) on guns and explosives and terrorism charges that I've been wondering about:

Las Vegas man indicted on terrorism, weapon charges is in custody

Nevada man arrested on terrorism, weapon charges in Vegas

But I don't see any direct connection between them all... at least not yet. It's enough to keep an eye on though.

I haven't heard much about this guys politics...his personality. Also, for instance, since he shot up a concert, did he like music, did he hate music, what kind of music, was he a noise hating freak, whats the history of his love life, education history.

Still not much on this guy

Except for the fact he worked for the Federal government, including the DoD.

Comments from those who knew him personally say he had no politics. If it can be proven that he is the guy in the pics floating around wearing the puddytat hat, that would indicate left leaning politics. As would confirmation of Antifa literature in his room. I haven't heard either confirmed yet though.

...his personality.

Well, his neigbors in Reno didn't consider him all that friendly, and the folks in Starbucks said he was rude and belittling to his girlfriend... his brother said he was a normal guy and doted on her...

One source -- I don't remember who it was now -- said he liked country music. That's all I remember hearing though.

It's trickling out.... I'm sure we'll be hearing more as people come out of the woodwork and the media finds them.

Do you know what kind of background checks would be performed for an Auditor for the DoD? What kind of security clearance would be needed?

Another idea…. Conspiracy level

Recall the alleged killer of MLK, James Earl Ray. He claimed a guy named Raul set him up by telling him to buy a gun, get a hotel room, do this and do that, all just to set him up as a patsy.

This case may be similar on a higher level. Is it possible some sinister secret cabal could have got this guy to buy these guns and tell him: Okay get in that hotel we'll be there.

Any thing could have happened from there

There’s just no rational reason or even irrational reason given yet for this guys actions

In a word, NO. I've seen men (and women) in their 60s and 70s shoot at the range all afternoon. I don't know where this idea got started that it takes a superman to wield these weapons.

There are tons of senior citizens at the big auto shoot in Kentucky every year. None of them fall over from shooting the auto weapons available there.
