I could be wrong but this "attempted to buy tracer rounds" may be BS just to gild the lily sort of hype. I say this because over the years from Bill Clinton to current there has been this fascination if you will with "accessories" and the like. Flash suppressors, large mags, heat diverters, and clips ect now bump stock. Point is a focus on TACTICAL improvements to the weapons alarms certain.

How about this (?)...the real operation was something far larger and more destructive where thousands would have been killed. The shooting was only an attempt to stop the larger plan from actually taking place....and cover up / destroy the evidence of the larger plan as well as create a giant diversion to protect the real perpetrators.

Not to speak for anyone but myself, I think the talk about scopes and trajectory and drop is relevant to whether the tanks at McCarren were being specifically targeted, rather than simply stray bullets.

This article -- Las Vegas Strip shooter targeted aviation fuel tanks, source says -- has a diagram showing the angles of fire from the two broken windows, and suggests the bedroom window was where the tanks were shot from, and the living area window is where the concert venue was shot from. I understand, as this article and our fellow ATSers have stated, that if those tanks were targeted, they wouldn't have exploded and ignited as the gunman must have expected.

It seems reasonable to me... but I'll keep reading for the wisdom of folks smarter than me!

So something odd. I can't find much of anything on Jesus Campos outside of a few highly contextualized quotes. No images, no history, nothing.
