If you have seen the picture of the shooter dead, the one of the waist up including head. I don't think it can be linked here because of terms. If you look at that image and zoom in. There is no blood on the spent shells around his head in the pooling of his blood. This indicates he was dead before those shells were shot, or else they would have blood on them. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm......

I haven't seen those pics. Only the partial views of the lower half of the body and the left side. So thank you for sharing that. It's consistent with what I had read and mentioned earlier.

And I hate to ask this, but since you've seen the pic, the dead guy does look like it's Paddock?

I can't tell exactly, the mouth is open and there is lots of blood on his face and one of his eyes have been distorted from the shot. He is white, grey hair and a couple day old beard growth.

Did they confirm yet that he even took those weapons up to the room?

patsy gun seller.

That got caught up in a sting. But to me the dead guy isn't even Paddock. This is a very deep rabbit hole and trying to frame this event as a lone, drugged up, pissedoff gunman makes it smell funny. It's astonishing the people that claim not to trust the government and label everything from the MSM as fake news, now buy into the official story.

and no the pic of the dead guy dosen't even look like paddock....look at the ears.

Kinda sorta... but not to my satisfaction. There are reports that he did so over a few days time, during the confusion and inattentiveness of shift changes, and one time with the help of an employee. But it was also "confirmed" that Paddock didn't check in until Saturday -- not Thursday as originally said -- so how could he have done it over a few days if he was only there since the day before.

I will try to nail that down when I get a chance. It's important.

Thank you -- much appreciated.

Now that you mention it, I do recall something about the ears being different being discussed somewhere. Having not seen the pics though, I can't speak to it myself. We'll see if that changes... I'm still trying to drum up the fortitude to actually look at the pics myself.

I'm just kind of musing... thinking out loud if you will...

In that vein...

Maybe his 'customers' figured out his shtick, brought the ammo with them, capped him, did the deed, and then vamoosed in the time window afforded them by the chaos of the aftermath.

That makes much more sense! Thank you!!!

Or... and this just occurred to me... what if these were repeat customers, who had met with him previously in his regularly comped suite at the Mandalay, and knew exactly the set up, etc. So they plan their rampage, request their meeting for that particular date and time, and come prepared... but Paddock is a sitting duck.

Just from the head, I couldn't make a definitive distinction.

There's just so little possible to explain the reasoning here from what seems to be a very calculating individual.

Just an update (from Thursday) about ISIS' claims that Paddock had converted:

ISIS: Las Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock Became Muslim Six Months Before Massacre

In the latest edition of ISIS's weekly Al-Naba online magazine, which was shared by its supporters Thursday on encrypted messaging app Telegram, the militant network provided more information intended to bolster its prior claims that assailant Stephen Paddock converted to Islam... The new publication now specified that Paddock, who the group dubbed Abu Abdul Barr al-Amriki, had allegedly "converted to Islam six months ago" and provided a play-by-play of Sunday's bloodshed.

The article later points out that pretty much all of the information used by ISIS in the infographic is public knowledge, with the exception of Paddock's supposed conversion. ISIS also claims that he used 2,000 rounds of ammunition; does anyone know if that has been stated by authorities? I'm not sure they would even know that yet -- if ever. They can only count what they find... they can't count what they don't find. Unless maybe they know from empty cartridges or something left behind?

I'm happy to be skooled on how all this works

Is anyone familiar with a "citizen journalist" on Twitter named Laura Loomer? One of the rabbit-holes led me to her Twitter.

She is claiming that the feds are lying... that valet records show Paddock at the Mandalay on the 25th... that the records show his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, as the last person to check into the Mandalay parking lot with his van at about 12:30 pm on the 1st... and that Mandalay valet records show the FBI took possession of that vehicle on the 4th. She has pics to back her claims up.

All of this spread over several Twitter messages, with other messages in between, so you have to read down and through...

here is the latest info I have seen...cruise to the middle east is very interesting since isis is claiming this incident and that he converted 6 months ago

I just saw a story that says he and his girlfriend took a cruise to the middle east a couple of years ago...that paper on the table in his room was a list of phone numbers....they are still looking for the call girl...they now claim they have matched up ALL the cell phones and ALL the chargers ( this is the follow up about that 1 phone charger that didn't match any of his phones)

Whoa!!!

Wendy Miller from Cooroy, on the Sunshine Coast, was also caught up in the attack.

She was at a bar in the nearby Luxor Hotel with her husband when she saw what she described as a “man of interest” run by.

“We managed to make our way back to our room…” she told The Courier-Mail.

“We are in lock down.

“Our door is dead locked and a chair against the door.”

Ms Miller said the man sprinted through her hotel after coming off an escalator from the Mandalay Bay.

“The man that they [security] were chasing was wearing a security jacket like them,” she said.

Maybe it was just a coward saving his own sorry hide... or maybe not.

Lots more witness accounts at the article -- including assertions of multiple shooters.

Thank you very much!

I'm very curious about why he had so many cell phones. I could maybe see two -- one for personal and one for business. But I think he had five? That's very odd to me.

For whatever it's worth, I don't put much stock in this whole radical muslim conversion thing, not with this guy anyway. But allow me to explain why...

This is just my opinion, but it is an opinion based on having lived in a mostly Muslim country in SE Asia for two years (working). Indoctrination into the Muslim religion takes years, not weeks or months. To go from non-Muslim to radical Muslim in a very short period of time just seems really unlikely (regardless of what ISIS may claim). I could kind of see it if he had already been a Muslim and then got radicalized, but there is no indication this was the case. And, it seems like all indications are he was atheist, which makes this seem even more unlikely still. Atheists don't believe in any god at all, so to go from that to radical Muslim just doesn't compute at all. And, the Muslim religion in general is a pretty intense religion in terms of participation. It's a lot more than just going to church on Sunday...it's daily prayers several times a day, mosque on Friday and pretty much an entire lifestyle. That's not something an atheist is going to just jump right into.

To me, it would be a lot easier to believe he got radicalized through some evangelical madness you can find by listening to shortwave radio (which would be something he could do without going anywhere). And, if he was a survivalist type, like some have suggested, this would be something I could picture.

Very good points and very well said -- thank you! That makes the most sense that I've heard yet. Conversion take time and effort. And that doesn't happen sitting at casinos, where he seems to have spent most of his time.

Understand if you’re thinking FF to psych out the population its important this killer be a very unconventional profile.

What’s happening now is one gets the feeling some force in the world doesn’t want people to go out much.

Don’t go to a mall, a concert, stay in and watch the news or cable or whatever but just keep your ass inside

And yet malls , concerts, sporting events , take your pick are still sold out and packed with people.
Sort of like the "they are coming for our guns" that they havent done for the past decades.
