That in itself is another interesting tidbit. He was a professional poker machine player. These people only play certain genres of IDC poker machines. They have to do with always using maximum bets and the better odds on winning on a full house or flush. Not long ago, these types of machines started to be replaced by the casinos because they were tapping into too much profit. Even so, some do still exists and are ALWAYS occupied by pro's, to the point of fighting over the seat when someone gets up.

Yes, that was pretty darn sloppy work IF that's how it was actually originally set up... but that's a very big IF. That's also pretty darn sloppy work if the cameras were intended to see down the corridor, but it seems that the cameras on the cart were positioned to monitor the stairwell door across the hall -- not the corridor.

Bottom line: Neither of us knows. We can only surmise and speculate.

Photos appear that are obviously not official crime scene photos.
Authorities refuse to comment on photos.
Suddenly authorities have a change of heart and say the photos are real.
Seems a bit contrived to me---as though they wanted to let out a "trailer" for a tease...make folks wonder.
So I'm still a bit wary of the photos...lack of spent bullets, apparent freshness of blood that should have been oxidized after sitting in open air for an hour while the breach is set up, stuff like that.

Cameras----after talking to the guys who installed our outdoor "security" cameras (we use them to watch for wildlife at night, not "security") I've learned that there are wireless cameras that could have been placed on that cart and on the door as well. Without knowing what specific cameras were there, there's no way to tell if they were wifi capable or not, whether they, like ours, can be set to run with motion sensor, with an audible alarm to tell the monitor that recording has begun...seems the choices are pretty much endless. They could be set to livestream everything going on in that hallway or just give a beep and/or begin recording when motion is detected.

I would be very interested to know where the cart was originally delivered---to the suite? Or did he just grab it from another area? Still want to know if there were other guests registered on that wing???? How many of them were actually in their rooms when the shooting started?

From what I can tell by studying the diagrams made by various people (and supposing they are accurate) based on what we are being told---the camera on the cart seems to be there to watch the stairwell door while the one behind the peephole would have been watching the hallway. But if he was going to make that door inoperable with "a metal bar and screws" why go to the trouble of setting up a camera to watch it? (Yeah, I know---crazy people do crazy things....)

Using the diagram on page 61 (www.abovetopsecret.com...) and the diagram (LA Times) of the "shooter's room" with guns, body, etc located on it (s15-us2.ixquick.com...:%2F%2Flatimes-graphics-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fassets%2Fimg%2FKilling-room-for-blog-.png&sp =5f646693edeb5e05960ea1ec17e4b8b0) I was attempting to guess where the "shooter's nest" might have been but there isn't enough info without seeing photos of the entire crime scene.

Questions that I have:

How far back from those windows could he be and still see his target area?

Would he need to be elevated (on a bar stool using a bipod or tripod/) in order to be far enough back into the room that the flash of the fire wouldn't be visible below?

What kind of cameras were found in the rooms?

I'm sure someone has already figured this out but I simply don't have the time to spend searching ....appreciate any links that might be found out there.

This, to me, looks like a long drawn out operation that culminated in this horrible tragedy Oct 1st on these innocent people, and setting up Paddock.

Yes -- Brian Hodge of Australia. He claimed to be staying next door in 32-134, but that he had been out when it all started, and tried to make it back to his room, but ended up fleeing and hiding in bushes outside. He said there was a shootout, a security guard was killed, and that it was quite "horrific".

Multiple people dead makes 200+ rounds being shot sound more plausible.

Sure does. That's one reason I cannot discount the Aussie guy's story. His scenario fits those 200 shots much better than the FBI timeline, and explains how a security guard (as mentioned in police audio) fits in as well.

Sorry, but until that Aussie dude shows a receipt for that room at the Mandalay Bay hotel on that evening....I'm really, really doubtful of his story. We know that these events ALWAYS produce false witnesses with fantastic stories. Not sure it they come out on their own or whether they are really disinformation agents sent out to confuse an already confusing story. So far as I can find, he's not actually proven that he was there. I don't think it is too much to have him show proof.

As I said in my own thread the other day, if it ever actually emerges that even 1 of the mass shooting events or bombing events of the last decade were orchestrated by Government agencies, if I was an American I'd be bloody scared....and oh so angry.....and if 1 turns out to be true then you can bet your life others are too

Didn't the Trump administration announce almost immediately that Paddock was a member of ISIS? It was so bizarre that I remember it pretty well. The only unclear thing is whether this came before the Israeli newspaper's announcement.

This should be fairly easy to check, given timestamps on government press releases and newspaper "datelines."

I'm trending more toward that view as times goes by. I'm right there in line with everyone who is begging to know more. If the authorities want people to stop questioning their narrative, all they have to do is show us the evidence that supports that narrative.

A full video of the hallway and elevator doors that took 200 rounds, complete with the bloodstains left by the wounding of the security guard and the "metal strip" pried off the stairwell door.

A full video of the room as it appeared after the doors were breached, complete with the piles of spent cartridges, the electronics, cameras, computers, cell phones...placement of equipment described by police.

Autopsy report of suspect.

Audio and video evidence supporting the official timeline.

Those things should keep a lot of folks occupied for a while.

To a great extent, I think that's true about every witness and every piece of evidence... We really have no proof of anything. And if the journalists aren't going to ask for receipts, we're pretty much out of luck on that score.

However, I can say that there is plenty of alternate accounts that indicate something did happen inside the Mandalay Bay, including police audio, ambulances at the hotel, an EMT stating there were injured inside Mandalay.

Maybe they're all lying as part of a plan. I don't know. But we're not going to get the evidence from the police nor the FBI. All we've got to go on are the witness accounts and police audio at this point. And that's why I cannot rule his story out, because it does match details of other accounts. And this interview was given almost immediately, before he had the chance to sync his story with other accounts.

He's essentially describing "Unabomber Syndrome" isn't he? (Except Kaczynski's personality fracture was deliberately induced) At least, that's the parallel that has come into focus from my perspective.

Toot away J&C! That is an impressive post. I do recall early in the Pressers by Lombardo, he stated his officers met gunfire in Mandalay Bay. Now, the story is that all the shooting was done when they arrived. I cannot help but believe this narrative is frustrating for him, since he knows the officers are not being recognized fully for their heroic actions that night.

I am recognizing it definitely does seem like there was more than Paddock shooting that night. Obviously, the Clark County Commisioner and the FBI want to alleviate public fears, but I truly believe they have not fully realized the old ways of concealing truth is impossible in the age of the Internet.
