I thought his awkward comments were more wtf.

"I hate to tell you, Puerto Rico, but you threw our budget a little out of whack."

Probably could have just gone without that one. Can't imagine he would have gone to Houston and said, "Oh boy, you guys sure are costing the rest of us a lot of money." Then there was this one:

"Every death is a horror, but if you look at a real catastrophe like Katrina, and you look at what happened here...what is your death count? Sixteen people, verified; 16 versus in the thousands. You can be very proud all of your people, all of our people, 16 versus literally thousands of people, you can be very proud."

In the end it seemed that he was trying to make a point about how the death toll could have been worse and how they should be proud of the response? Does that include all the local officials that he was blasting on Twitter? What a really strange way of expressing that sentiment. Particularly a "real catastrophe like Katrina" — for a lot of the residents of PR, it's as bad as Katrina was on an individual basis. Yes, there were what, about a thousand dead after Katrina but wtf compares catastrophes like that to victims?

That would be like going to Las Vegas and saying, "Well folks, could have been worse. I mean this was bad but it's not a real mass murder like that Anders Breivik thing. He killed 77 people, right?"

Also, they finally updated the official death toll today and it's up to 34 (the figure he was given at the time was 16).

That may be the silliest thing I've ever seen a President do. And that's saying something.

Fake news.

He threw paper towels to them. Not at them.

I see everyone smiling in the crowed, a light moment for a bad situation..
