Okay so this was the post that I should have been responding to. Let me start off by saying...

HUH?

That's 100% wrong. Why do you believe that? ISIS is trying to establish a caliphate which is a theocracy. There's nothing at all left-wing about a theocracy, quite the opposite — it's super far to the right.

Just like fundamentalist Christians or orthodox Jews, fundamentalist Muslims are ultraconservative traditionalists.

I'm not picking on you, I'm legitimately trying to understand how one could come to believe something that is pretty much the opposite of reality.

Just guessing, but maybe it's because HE's personally got some sort of problem with Muslims and often finds himself in arguments with liberals about it. And that's probably the extent of his political/ideological evaluation.

How does that change the fact that you're citing a fake account as a source for your thread premise?

You thought a fake Facebook account that is only there to take advantage of the gullible was real. Own it instead of backpedaling. No one ever said Antifa hasn't called for violence, lots of people from all over the spectrum call for it every day and it is not unique to the left OR right.

All I'm saying is that you used a fake account to come to the conclusion that the shooter was a member of Antifa. If you took a fake accounts word without fact checking them then what else have you bought into that's a lie?

...That's because Muslims in general are very left-wing. in the U.S. Muslims tend to be democrat, progressives, or straight out socialists.

Throughout the Middle East there are Muslim nations which are national socialists.

Islamic socialism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Islamic socialism is a term coined by various Muslim leaders to describe a more spiritual form of socialism. Muslim socialists believe that the teachings of the Qur'an and Muhammad—especially zakāt—are compatible with principles of economic and social equality. They draw inspiration from the early Medinan welfare state established by Muhammad. Muslim socialists found their roots in anti-imperialism. Muslim socialist leaders believe in the derivation of legitimacy from the public.

The Ba'ath party in Iraq, Iran, Syra, etc, were/are Arab Socialist Ba'ath Parties.

Here, directly from AlJazeera...

The Arab Baath Socialist Party

All throughout the world Muslims, not just radicals but all Muslims are very left-wing or even socialists.

Melbourne Antifa isn't a "fake account"...

Oh and BTW, as to the claims that "Boston Antifa doesn't exist"...

I guess these idiots from the Boston Antifa charter are "RUSSIAN SPIES"!!!!

Oh and here is the "official Boston Antifa" reacting to the claim that their Boston charter is Russian...

Notice how the two Antifa idiots laugh when they say "democrats, etc, believe you are Russians" and start laughing...

Enjoy the laughs and watch until the end in which they show "wiccanantifa" "cast a spell for their fallen charter in BostonAntifa...

Probably the ones who run the account. Real people run fake accounts you know.

Any other sources that he was a member of Antifa other than that Facebook account that just about anyone could be running?

People weren't saying Muslims couldn't be leftists but that ISIS affiliated individuals are definitely not.

Nice try, please play again.

Aaah...so only "regular Muslims are very left-wing" but radicals cannot be left-wing?... Why is that, there are plenty of examples of radical socialists all over the world...

No, there are ultra conservative Muslims that are right wing but not ISIS. What people are trying to explain to you is that ISIS is the epitome of ultra-right leanings while ANTIFA are ultra-left leaning therefore it is highly unlikely or improbable that someone would claim to be a member of both.

Boston Antifa
Published on Oct 2, 2017
In today's MFBA, we ask the following:

Does this country have any bigger issue than Russia? Any at all?

Do the experts, celebrities, politicians and media obsessed with Russia really know what they're talking about? Are they even telling the truth or do they simply say whatever gets a reaction? How could they impeach Trump with hacks running the show?

Comrades, marginalized folx deserve better than this. Liberals or conservatives... we stand AGAINST all xenophobic conspiracy theorists!

Antifa has exposed you all. Deactivate your accounts.

You keep saying Muslims are left wing... But most Abrahamic religions tend to be right wing.

I'm an independent , but aren't they concervative by nature?

Secular western culture tends to be progressive.

I don't have a dog in the fight, just calling it how I see it.

Giving all power to the state is very left-wing... National socialism is "very left-wing"... implementing global socialism is "very left-wing"...

The "Caliphate" is a way to cede all power to one entity, which is very left-wing.

Centeralized power has been part of any "right vs left" totalitarian government.

But no one is going to stop you from chasing your tail. The OP was stated as fact and here we are.... Arguing about philosophy, religion and politics. What was the evidence were going off of again?
