Today was my first time hearing how a ?bump? modified rifle shoots. You pull the trigger and it starts shooting until the magazine is empty. Maybe Paddock grew tired, laid the still-firing rifle on the floor and put his foot on it? The last 20 in that magazine went into the base board.

Naw it would stop firing after he took his figure out of the trigger or the stock off of his shoulder.

Bump sttock would not fire without a finger on the trigger. Speculating i might guess this was when he attempted to explode the fuel tanks next to the airport. If this would have been successful we would be talking thousands dead. I also think it was important to his escape plan and the rounds couldnt penetrate the tanks which foiled his plan.

Lols. Thanks I needed a bit of a laugh. I think I'm done trying to figure out what those 20 shots were. Not worth the headache over something we might not ever figure out. I'm going to bed. X)

The other guy was on the top of the pyramid, where its bright, so you couldn't see his muzzle flash. Plus pyramids are Illuminati. All seeing eye watching all this... anyway, After hearing the video a couple more times I feel he had alot of time in between shots. At this point I cant believe he kept going and then just did himself in. this took ALOT of planning and prep and time to think...

If it was a case of him moving between windows then the timing would be off for the guy to be moving between windows.. I thought echo at first as well, because it seems to follow the loud shots immediately, but There would be no way he could get to second window that fast unless someone else was shooting from the other window to start with. Imho of course.

What I want to know if Why there isn't ANY. Footage of muzzle flash from the 32 floor. When people do see flash or it captures their eyes, they are always drawn to the 4 floor. Shouldn't it be the same for the 32 floor as well?

This video shows the hotel from the concert side. It is filming while Live fire is happening. You can see the strobe of the 4th, but NOTHING from the 32.

Video may be stressful for some:

Thanks. Hmm I guess I'll just have to face the fact that we may never figure out what those 20 quiet shots were. I'll take a guess though and say it was either...

1: The officer firing back.
2: Paddock left his suite to fire those 20 shots in the hallway then came back inside the suite firing through the door.
3: Different much quieter weapon.
4: Someone far away unrelated.

Maybe this helps... The cab has a message screen with clock synchronized with central dispatch, so its going to be accurate down to the second. 8:02 into the video, the time displayed on the dash is 10:17pm. Backing up to your quiet shots at the :43 second mark, that pinpoints them at about 10:10PM. Sheriff lays out a timeline built on audio recordings from officer body cams. 1st shots were fired at 10:05PM. Officers reach 32nd floor 12 minutes later at 10:17pm. This means that the Security guard was shot in the leg sometime between 10:05 and 10:17.

Security guard responded to the 32nd floor after the occupant on 31st floor called the hotel desk and reported that automatic weapons were being fired from the room directly above him. Sheriff noted that occupant of that room is savvy- former military, Former military in a VIP suite got taken seriously. I expect that this educated individual called security by 10:06pm. Security goes code red, and the closest guard makes a beeline for the elevator to 32. That's got to be at least 2-3 minutes to get an elevator and get up there. That puts him at 10:08-10:09. He steps off the elevator, runs towards the room not realizing there's a camera on him. Shooter sees him step out of the elevator, turns around and dumps a partial mag into the hallway at 10:10pm, which you heard as 'quiet rounds.' I expect that he saw the security guard limp toward the elevators injured, and dumped another 100 round mag into the hallway leading to the Sheriff's guestimate that a couple hundred rounds had strafed the hallway.

This timeline is built on a couple assumptions, but does line up with the 'quiet shots' heard from the cab which we now know took place at 10:10PM. I'm sure we'll eventually find out how long the injured security guard waited for officers to arrive after being shot, and that will nail down the timeline and make or break my theory for the 'quiet shots' that have sparked controversy about a 2nd shooter.

A good flash hider will almost eliminate muzzle flash on an AR15. Without a flash hider, up to a 15,000 lux muzzle flash. With a quality flash hider, just .3 lux!! 1 lux=1 candlepower, so its only putting out .3 candlepower which is equivalent to a 4 lumens. For comparison, a giveaway keychain LED flashlight puts out around 10 lumens. With all of the light polution in Vegas, 4 lumens would be pretty much invisible.

Here's a good demonstration of what a flash hider can do in complete darkness muzzle flash demo in complete darkness

From what I can hear and see I'm thinking two gunmen. Two shooters coordinating fire with one another for the attack. As for motive I think its a radical leftist group like (ANTIFA) with the agenda of firing upon conservatives who are attending a country music festival. Probably funded by someone in the democratic party like Hillary Clinton. Pick the perfect guy to take the fall one shooter takes out the other and is gone by the time the police get to room. Find someone with ties to the media to push the lone gunmen story everywhere and to everybody. Then push the real agenda "Gun control" and try to take the 2nd amendment out of the constitution.

There's no evidence of 200+ rounds in the doors as LEO said were shot inside (though half of one door is missing in photos) and no splintering or damage to the frame from something like that.

The initial quiet shots in the cab video overlapped the louder shots no? If they don't match count-wise and they overlap that's 2 shooters, not echo, and not quieter shots from turning to fire down the hall unless it's the 2nd shooter doing so while the 1st is still firing outside.

Also after entering and finding 'Paddock', LEO reported having to breach the inner door to gain access to the second room which only locked from the other side. So how was Paddock going into that room to fire from the second window? And did he lock it, go out into the hall and back in the other door to shoot some more and then off himself? 2 shooters imo.

OK so I just looked through the pics again and video and i dont see any fancy muzzle flash stopper thingy. My conclusion is either these guns are invisible at night, without mods, which is unacceptable to be available to the public IMHO invisible night guns is not good... even the lights in the hotel rooms are visible. the lamps? and not the full auto guns? Is it possible anyone was shooting from that floor and could muzzle his flash to where it was invisible? The people in the vids dont seem to see the shots. And lets not forget what kind of crowd we are talking about here. Country Music fans tend to know about guns. How could they not see this guy firing or are invisible night guns a new problem in this country.

The reason why it bothers me that no one was able to see these guns firing is the copycat effect. If you look at what he actually used, it wasnt much. he brought alot with him but didnt need to. What i am gathering is that if someone waits for nightfall, takes a duffle bag to any building with at least 30 stories and busts out a window, then they can do the same thing this guy just did. If the shots were visible, he wouldn't have killed as many IMHO

Im wondering if there is going to be any forensic analysis of the hotel scene generally and of the immediate areas around the victims and deceased person. Im' interested to see if there will be any close up and pull back photos of the where all these bullets struck things that were soft and things were solid like concrete etc.

I will be very suspicious of this event if we get another 911 thing where the scene is highly disturbed and opened up to traffic again within an hour or two of the event being over.

Im expecting a very detailed forensic report to be submitted to the appropriate authorities and for the media to be given this report without any time or other restrictions.

i will be interested to know:

how many injured people were taken to hospital
which hospitals they were taken to
where where the deceased taken to
how many of them were there
how many funerals are held at the end of the day and;
other investigative analysis facts that should all line up in a nice neat row.

Lets hope we don't have another Sandy hook here.

Your expectations are way off.

For a start, this is one of the largest crime scenes imaginable, with a huge amount of evidence scattered over a roughly cone shaped area, four football fields in length. To ensure absolute containment, the hotel itself, its grounds, the road between the hotel and the concert site, the ENTIRE concert site, many of the areas next to it, around it and any area into which a bleeding victim may have been taken to cover, to eventually and unfortunately perish anyway, will have to be cordoned off completely...

What WILL happen, is the same thing that ALWAYS happens in ANY investigation effort, which is that only a limited number of places will actually be cordoned off, selected on their best chance of containing evidence which can be used to piece together what actually happened, and those areas which, if cordoned off would cause disruption to the city, will be the first to be thoroughly gone over. So, for example, the street between the hotel and the concert site would be checked over first, to ensure that nothing could be missed by opening that road. Then, that road will reopen. The next two pressure points, where the forensics team will be under pressure from either city or private forces to hurry up and get out of the way, will be the hotel and its grounds, and the concert venue. I would have thought clearing the area around the hotel grounds of evidence and cataloguing finds there, would be a priority. Glass on the floor from the broken windows, any spent brass that made its way out the window while the gunman was firing, and so on, may all be located on the grounds, on the concert venue facing side. Once the grounds themselves are clear, the hotel can return to at least a semblance of normal function, and whatever investigation remains to be done, will be tear downs of the rooms the shooter used as gun nests, and can be somewhat kept out of the public view, which will suit the hotel owners no end.

At the same time though, that concert venue contained tens of thousands of people, all running this way and that, blood dripping from wounds, bodies littering the place, bullet impacts all over the place, some misses, others embedded in the ground or other structures with organic material on them. There are, likely as not, MILLIONS of pieces of evidence to sift, individual blood drops to examine the meaning of, hair and epithelial evidence from victims to sort out, dropped personal items.

The process of collecting all the evidence alone will take AGES, leave alone the process of actually translating the data recovered into a cohesive and accurate picture of what, exactly happened, and only once both these processes, these extremely arduous, difficult, lengthy processes, have been completed to the satisfaction of the forensic science specialists, should the slightest detail be released, because in a case this broad, information out of context can really screw up the public understanding of events.

The main reason iss people dont know what to look for. The weapons i saw had flash suppressors meaning you dont get that bright white flash people expect. The other thing is the room would have been filled with smoke firing all those rounds .

Not if the windows were blown out.

The exchange of pressures from the air conditioned room, to the air outside, would have sucked/blown the smoke out, especially when you consider that even on a still day, wind speed is normally higher at greater elevations.

Has anyone taken a GOOD look at the TAXI footage, and saw what seemed like shot's being fired from the top of the Luxor pyramid? It happens at least twice on camera. the first "shot" (including slight delay between visual muzzle flash and the audible shot) is @ 8:12 and the second is @ 8:35. I dragged the slider back and forth a lot, and the more I do that, the more it looks like an actual shot being fired.
I hope one of the resident experts can clarify.
Please tell me I am delusional.
