the story.

It's been reported by other sources... not just zerohedge

It's 23 out of 27, as of 2013, that don't have security cameras beyond the casino and hotel lobby areas.

Which of course discounts completely the interview in question.

According to reports, Stephen Paddock is the least likely person to commit such a deadly outrage as this. Economically he was comfortable and without concerning financial pressures. He had a live-in girlfriend, Marilou Danley, who has been located outside of the US and is not a suspect. It looks as though Paddock either planned this over time, or he chose to do it on the spur of the moment, because he had suddenly become emotionally de-stable, possibly because his live-in girlfriend had broken up with him, and had left him, leaving the US entirely? Even so, the search to understand his motive continues.

Why does a quiet, likeable man of 64, with no affiliation to any particular political or religious groups, no personal economic pressures, and in a seemingly relative stable relationship, shoot dead 58 people and injure many 100s more? His act was nothing short of a display of utter contemptible fury towards humanity.

He didn't take careful pot shots at people, he just loaded his weapons and blasted away into the festival crowd until the magazine ran out, then loaded another magazine and blasted away again, signifying an all-consuming rage. Yet, he was not a shooter who suddenly decided to open fire from his hotel room, as he had many guns with him, so he certainly intended to kill people.

Witness being interviewed on MSNBC by Lester Holt right now stated he saw people being trampled. That is not surprising. No doubt some of the injured and possibly even a few of the dead were injured in the panic. The shooter is still ultimately responsible.

I thought that odd also. He supposedly shot out two windows before shooting into the crowd. Did not someone hear those shots and notice the glass falling to the streets?

If so, it seems the police knew early on where the shots were coming from.

There seems to be multiple pictures going around of the windows though. I remember seeing an earlier picture that did not have the same windows being blown out. The two windows actually looked like they were on two different levels.

It is so hard to find the truth on the internet any more. There is always someone that needs to show how clever or talented they think they are, by throwing out information or photo shopped pictures to muddy the waters.

It is particularly unfortunate with this situation were it appears the truth is stranger than fiction.

Interesting you didn't include it's been reported Paddock had "large transactions" at the casino recently. They're investigating whether they were wins or losses. If they were big losses that would be somewhat relevant wouldn't you say?

Let's save the speculation.

At the last press conference the LE rep stated they think he smashed the windows out with a hammer or something similar.

Edit:

Country music star Jason Aldean was performing at the end of the three-day Route 91 Harvest Festival in front of a crowd of more than 22,000 when the gunman in the 44-floor Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino apparently used a hammer-like device to smash out windows his room and opened fire, authorities said.

That all assumes quite a lot.

I suspect we will learn far more as the investigation continues.

This wasn't just a spur of the moment event fueled by momentary rage... This one took real planning, and very likely had a specific purpose for the shooter.

The evidence can point to whatever they want it to point to if it was indeed staged and I'm not saying it is. But to accept everything exactly as being stated in the first 24 hours is not a good idea especially with the track record of our officials. It's possible their narrative will continue to carry regardless and this was perfectly planned (again if staged). Sometimes we find holes other times we don't. The only people that know the truth are those directly involved and possibly first responders, sometimes not even them. I don't trust anything anymore, so many lies in the past 30 years one after another and everything smells bad.

It smells terrible. But look at all the people claiming not to trust the government; eating up the official story.

The so called shooters brothers has just been interviewed on TV and he is shocked and doesn't appear to believe his brother did or could do such a thing. Is he a PATSY!

I just watched that too.
They said the shooter had already killed himself before the cops got there....could there still be someone else out there? I hope more details will be forthcoming.....
If he was alone, it's scary to think someone so normal with no signs of this about to happen, it just doesn't make sense that they're saying that this was planned for a long time...so he didn't just snap.

Especially after watching his brother, he was looking very much in shock.

Many People Carry Guns in Clubs and Casinos in Las Vegas and It is Legal

if each of these concert goers were all packing, like its their right, the outcome would have been a lot different.

speculate what that outcome would have been.

A bunch of people firing up at a hotel window 1,200 ft away and probably spraying the neighboring windows and occupants with random bullets?

I wonder if we will hear anymore from msm about the woman warning people 45 minutes before the shooting began?

Now we know why he was shooting from a confined, upper-level hotel room. No risk of being taken out by a law abiding citizen. He certainly did his homework.

If it can be proven she is actually involved I'm sure it will be reported. That said, Las Vegas isn't exactly bereft of schizophrenic, homeless people.
