So The woman who was a person of interest is no longer a person of interest. They located her and she had nothing to do with it. Can't help thinking the police made a huge blunder here and mistook the shooters wife with the same first name as this woman.

What makes it worse is the media pasting her picture all over the place. She's just a person of interest, not a suspect.

But then when there's a terrorist attack and the suspect is still on the loose, they drag their feet on releasing a description or picture.

#ing media.

Last I heard the authorities were no longer looking for her. I chock that up to a: she's no longer an interest or b: they have her.

According to the Daily Mail, she is in custody now.

Gunman's companion Marilou Danley is detained and their home raided after Las Vegas mass shooting that left 50 dead and 200 injured

Why leave out the fact that its bolded in the article that she is not a suspect..

That picture makes it seem like there was more than one room the shooter fired from. I mean, the windows are awfully far apart. if it were the same room, it must have been huge.

Yeah either two different rooms or just one large suite. How was he going back and forth in that distance in that amount of time during the shootings is a question as well. Maybe he was picking a spot, broke the window then picked another? Or one was shot out during or after the mass shooting?

So, this supposed “nut job” was found to have as many as 10 rifles in his 32nd floor hotel room, yet the police have reported that he only used one rifle in his attack, re-loading it as many as three times during the attack.

Why bring so many weapons (and one would assume, the ammo for said weapons, otherwise WTF?) if you only intend to use one of them, and then kill your self?

And,

The police are saying that the shooter was found dead when they breached his room, of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

MSM shrinks are claiming that this typical behavior for “lone-wolf” style shooters.

But, again, if Paddock intended to kill himself after firing off three clips from just one of the ten weapons in his possession,

Why even bother about bringing the other guns?

OK, I’ll go full tinfoil here:

Did he really kill himself, or did someone else do the deed and leave before the SWAT team arrived?

Now that seems more plausible. He was already dead, and the real shooter or shooters left the scene before the swat arrived. No way was this only one shooter.

I guess it is even possible that this guy was kidnapped and placed in that room - shot after the shooting started - and left as the patsy whilst others escaped. All conjecture of course, but I'm having a hard time understanding how this guy could do so much damage - though some people on this thread with significantly more knowledge of guns than I do say it is possible.

This clown anchor on MSNBC just asked this witness how many rounds were fired. 50+ dead, 400+ injured, do you really think any of the witnesses can even guess at a number of shots fired?

If she knew the guy was going to do this and failed to act to stop it (reporting to authorities) then she can be charged for what occurred.

the concert was featuring country music, christians don't seem to target country music fans.
from what I've seen, the attendees seemed to be predominantly white... that would eliminate the white separatists.
the guy was retirement age, it seems that would have eliminated the antifa and violent left groups.
the picture that was posted on this thread of him kind of looks like he was playing a guitar or something...
a musician.
maybe he had a gripe against the band that was playing or the company that was putting on the concert and wanted to hit them back??

the next best explanation would probably be that he found out his girlfriend went to the concert and was hoping she would be one of the victims... even sent her a text minute before telling her he was there with his big arsed guns..

He picked 2 windows in his suite, facing slightly different directions, and set up weapons on tripods at each, then simply kept walking back and forth from one weapon to the other.

Drudge has a story of a woman at the concert saying 45 minutes before the shootings...another woman was frantically telling concert goers they were all going to die there.

Yea seems the narrative changes based upon the reason at the moment. It seems when they find out it's just some white dude, they make it seem like it's just some guy who had a bad day and flipped out. Any one else and it's a whole terrorist network with ties to every corner of the world.

Not to mention of the 50+ deaths how many were caused by gun fire and how many were caused by people being trampled / crushed to death in the melee to get out?

What part is hard to understand?

The shooter had tactical advantage , shooting from high ground into a crowd of stationary people..

The video I saw people dropped, and people pretty much stuck around trying to help people or whatever in the dark. Its not like there was anywhere to go when death was from above.

Consider Charles Whitman:

Charles Joseph Whitman (June 24, 1941 – August 1, 1966) was an American mass murderer who became infamous as the "Texas Tower Sniper". On August 1, 1966, he murdered his mother and wife in their homes, then went to the University of Texas at Austin where he shot and killed three people inside the university's tower. He then went to the tower's 28th-floor observation deck, where he fired at random for some 96 minutes, killing an additional eleven people and wounding thirty-one before being shot and killed by police. Sixteen people were killed in total; a 17th victim died in 2001 from injuries sustained in the attack. en.wikipedia.org...

And his crowd was nothing dense like that concert, doing sniper scope bolt action shooting.

Yeah I mean it's not hard to imagine how he hit that many. 32nd floor, wide open space, 22,000 people in attendance. It doesn't take that long to fire 500+ rounds if you have large enough magazines or even a belt-fed weapon.

The cycle rate wasn't consistent, has anyone considered a bump fire stock. It's legal and cheap way of turning a semiautomatic into a rifle that shoots almost the same cycle rate as a fully auto rifle. Just throwing that out because at this point the weapon make hasn't been mentioned by any Government agencies.

ETA and you don't need a permit or FFL to own, purchase or use. Just restitutions at some gun ranges.

I read another story that the shooter had sued a Vegas casino and his case was dismissed with prejudice in 2014...may have had something to do with it
