Thanks for your info. Cameras monitor hotel halls even in small cities as far as I've observed. Las Vegas, of all places, lacking that security is off to say the least.

If there was a second shooter, there would be footage of simultaneous fire? No?

I entertain the possibility of accomplice, but something went wrong with the exit plan.

I don't think there was multiple shooters or that would have been easy to spot in reviewing the tonnage of footage the FBI must have by now.

There's not footage of any shots coming from the 32nd floor. There WAS two windows broken out with rifles at each, one in a room behind doors locked from inside that room that LEO had to breach. Doesn't make sense if he was going from window to window.
But like I said no footage of shots regardless, and LEO/FBI are saying the cameras that were so meticulously set up (and wired to that locked room btw) weren't even on? Yeah right.

Edit: there is questionable audio from footage posted with 'talking' fire that doesnt match up w echo.

Vegas hotels record everything. That's what stinks about this. I guarantee on the recordings there's multiple other people who went in and out of the rooms in question leading up to the attack and possibly during, and what they found on the recordings is quite inconvenient.

We have covered this already, there aren't any cameras on the hotel room floors of major casino hotels in Las Vegas. They are only on the casino floor and select few other places.
.

You know this surprises me I work in the hotel business in Florida and let me tell you everything is on camera...some have been called on their cell phone to ask why are you where you are...the only place that did not have a camera was the rooms... If we wanted to talk we went into a room...it is hard for me to believe Vegas would be ant different. We caught people sleeping in stairwells, workout rooms extra...

I too am surprised that there supposedly aren't cameras in that Mandalay Bay hotel everywhere. Who told is there aren't cameras in the hallways??? I call BS on that, even before your helpful info.

Have they even done an autopsy to determine when he died and how long was he dead for? Can they also determine if he was shot by himself or someone shot him just by the way the bullet wound ends up.

Ox, what's your opinion on if there are ever 2 guns (or more) firing at once?

I've listened to every video available so far, multiple times. I don't hear multiple guns firing at the same time.

It is very easy to mistake some of the videos for multiple gun shots, and even echos, because for the videos that are within the concert arena you will hear the actual bullet hitting the concrete and other targets, and it sounds really snappy and loud. Then milliseconds later you hear the actual gunshot, not an echo. This is because he is firing bullets that travel faster than sound, so you hear the bullet hit things before you hear the gunshot.

The only time this is not the case is from videos that are closer to the Mandalay Bay. You hear the gunshot first, then you hear an echo. That is because the sound wave from the gunshot hits the cameras first.

What concerns me right now are the 10:09 - 10:10 gunshots that are obviously inside the hotel room because they don't have an echo, nor have any corresponding bullet hits from videos in the arena, and are obviously muffled. It concerns me because this seems to be the only internal shots that may have hit the security guard, and they are already praising the security guard for helping stop the shooter when in reality the shooter was going for another 5 minutes after that point. Its also concerning because I only count about 24 internal shots, not 200 like claimed, which makes sense when you look at the door of 32-135.

Kansasgirl I agree, I mostly read it from the same poster who's posted that a few times already.
I think judydawg is the first person claiming to actually work in the hotel industry to comment on that observation.

It's interesting that, given the "lone gunman who brought an arsenal in a ton of suitcases" narrative, that no one's released the cliche grainy still images from security cams of him checking in or bringing in baggage.
I believe only one suitcase is visible in the released photos of the room, and if he carried them all in himself I would imagine there's footage, no?

On top of that there's the two cars, two of everything on the food cart, room accessed when one of the 2 cars was gone from garage, two broken windows (1 behind a locked door in a second room), 2 different guns heard in footage (debatable), cell charger not matching his phone (if a burner then who was he in contact with?)...

I think it's clear he didn't act alone.

I wouldn't rule out that one shooter was aiming at the concert, and another was aiming at the door watching the cameras.

Yes everything is on video. The regular standard is we must go into rooms every 3 days. Just to make sure the guest are not doing drugs, destroying the rooms etc. , even with DND we get someone else to witness our entrance to the room on the 3rd days we go in. Vegas has to be more strict. It just doesn't add up... Now we do not touch any item will not make a bed with your personal things on the bed unless we are told to by you the guest... this is a big deal in hotel business.

The fact that FBI is putting billboards up is like leading e to believe that they want those people there that saw strange things or more than one shooter to step
Forward to make them feel crazy or earse their memories

Thanks for responding.

What about the second window that was busted out? Do you think that Paddock shot from there at some point?

So with the inside gunfire...what do you think happened?

From your link:

Yet The Associated Press found that 23 of the 27 major Strip casinos have no surveillance in hotel hallways or elevator landings. All but four of the 27 hotels are owned by MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment Corp., Las Vegas Sands Corp. or Wynn Resorts Ltd.

The Associated Press arrived at the tally by interviewing casino officials and visiting the hotels that wouldn’t comment. Only Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, the MGM Grand and Tropicana Las Vegas monitor the halls above the gambling floor.

“People have a false sense of safety when they go to a casino,” security consultant Fred Del Marva said. “You think, ‘I’m going to Bellagio, they have 2,000 surveillance cameras, so I’m going to be safe.’ And you’re wrong. The level of security at the hotel level is zero.”

Since that article was published in 2016, it's possible that it HELPED PADDOCK choose Las Vegas, over Chicago or Boston.

Somewhere about 1000 pages ago I think someone suggested he had a camera on the end of it

So, folks are thinking that he was shooting from some feet away from the windows...not right up at the windows....to avoid the muzzle flash from being detected.

How far back would he be though? The curtains! How did he get those curtains out of the way while he was shooting, if he was standing back from the window?

Lawsuit concerns come over safety in these casinos then. Older source, likely he and some criminals knew this and even from the sources and or being regulars(or not caring).

Here is what they are saying, I think they say this to avoid law suits..... I bet they have video anyway.... everything is about
money
From your link...
The other concern is lawsuits. If casinos set up hallway cameras but ignored the footage, guests might sue for negligence, according to Les Gold, who litigates liability issues for Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp in New York City.

“When they put these cameras in, it deters crime,” he said. “But to have a camera that is not monitored is a huge mistake.”
