This is making the rounds.

BREAKING: Users on /pol/ have discovered flight records and a plane that belonged to the Las Vegas Shooter. It is connected to an intelligence contractor who's owner previously worked for the Obama administration.

According to his brother Steve was 61 when they became all rich. Steve was also an accountant for the private military intelligence group Lockheed Martin. His G/F CIA. Total hit. It explains why he didn't leave the room when he amble time to do so. Also why two rooms were rented.

He never worked for Lockheed Martin.

Where are the sources regarding the gf being a CIA agent?

Yeah, that Lockheed Martin connection was due to him being an accountant for 3 years (1985 - 1988 I think it was) in a company that got acquired by the Lockheed / Martin Marietta merger. It likely means zero to be honest.

Irrelevant data point IMO.

I wasn't the one who brought it up. I'm correcting other posters who are posting false information.

And, as always, being attacked for it.

Now that is interesting. If true it makes you wonder just how long he had actually though about doing this.

On a different note. Why don't these vegas hotels have cameras in the hallways? Lots of hotels do

Keep in mind, there are 3 stairwells on the floor.

Stephen Paddock owned two airplanes. The owner of the other will be fun to see.

Yes, and if you observe the floor plan, you will see if you are at the elevator, you can monitor the door from a safer distance, and that covers the other to exits (since you will see him leaving the room and which direction he turns). You could also easily deploy other resources to the floors below to head him off from that position (i.e. down to the next floor, then down the hallway to the other stairways).

Hmmm... didn't we have mass shootings like this under Obama's presidency? Think Dallas... Orlando, San Bernandino

And??? I could make something similar and post it to reddit. That does not make it authentic. What is its provenance?

Your hysterics are childish.

No one said it's authentic. Maybe it is, maybe it is not. I know that's a tough concept to wrap your head around.

What hysterics. I guess pointing out that is it easy to fake something like that makes me childish? Please. You are laughable. But, what good can come out of propagating unsourced hearsay from another site?

Paddock being an Arms dealer is becoming more likely.

During the rambling interview in front of his house, he says "Steve was an arm...." then cuts himself off and is speechless for a few seconds before he recovers. If i find the clip i'll post it. I saw it on the Twitter.

Possible slip-up by his brother.

I mentioned that last night somewhere around pg 150-170 or so. I linked the 4chan archive to it if you want to read that.

It is kind of the origin to the arms dealer thing, but I am uncertain who might have linked it previous.

Some people don't think speculation is a good thing here.

Starting to read rumors he was an arms dealer and this was a deal that went south. Possible isis connections. trying to find secondary sources....

That rumor started right here... with me, earlier in this thread. Everything I have seen today makes me more and more certain that there's some truth in that theory.

Millionaire accountant? Maybe with a side job. All those guns? Even for an avid hunter, that's a little excessive unless one is a gun buff... since when does one need bipods/tripods for hunting? Stayed away form his neighbors and little family contact.

Vegas is not exactly known for delving into the financial affairs of its customers. Casinos are shady dealers by their very nature, not to mention a very good way of laundering money. What better place to meet for a little back room arms deal than a suite at Mendeley Bay? Of course, one would bring samples for the customer to check out.

So why couldn't a government operative set up a meeting to buy some bang-sticks, schedule it for the right time in the right location, and as soon as the meeting happens shoot the dealer, making it look like suicide, break out a couple of windows, start shooting up the crowd, then use the cameras to make sure they had time to slip out before the police arrived? Suddenly, they're confused, scared tourists in a room down the hall.

The motive? A call for gun control, a serious cry for gun control, that started before the blood stopped leaking.

It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

TheRedneck

DING, DING, DING.

Maybe this is why ISIS was claiming him as one of them. It's the only theory that makes sense to me as well.

I personally find it to be the most plausible conspiracy.

If this is the case - why would the FBI send in a single undercover agent for an arms deal, in a public hotel, with known terrorists? Why no precautions, in the case something goes awry?

Wouldn't it be feasible to assume that the undercover FBI agent fought back against his attackers? It's not like he didn't have access to anything to defend himself.

If this is the case - why go through the trouble of bringing guns up to the 32nd floor to meet with someone, then bring them all back down? Why not do it somewhere isolated, and in the case if something Gowan awry, it can quickly swept up considering many areas of the Mohave are essentially baron and desolate.

If if was an arms deal gone wrong, why not just say that IS carried out an attack on American soil (they've already claimed responsibility, not many people would question it imo) - and just leave out the part of how the weapons used were obtained from the FBI? Why not just blame "terrorism," and/or "IS?," rather than even mention Paddock?

I already know the responses I will get it for not towing the conspiracy angle, and being a "debunker," but I don't trust anonymous posters on the internet.

Like I said - it IS the most plausible conspiracy, but it is by no means "proof."

Side note: does anyone have a source for the claims of the shooters gf being CIA? I've seen posters say that, but I haven't seen any sources/confirmation regarding the claim.

Saw the same video and looking for it myself. I had to hit rewind several times trying to figure out what he was slipping up saying. "He was an arm" and then stops. I was thinking he was going to say he was an army of his own or he was in arm forces but now I'm thinking he was going to say arm's dealer. I'll try to find the video as well.

If you can fire this many rounds, potentially from different weapons, and not create a muzzle flash i would imagine that would be a major advantage to tactical weapons and would change combat at night dramatically.
