Whoa, Nelly!

I thought the narrative was that he was actually winning in his gambling... looking at it almost like a job to bring in money. If he was winning regularly at a known-rigged game... that raises the concept of money laundering.

TheRedneck

Apparently The old Flying disk has a problem with gaming. Video slots are NOT rigged. They are no more rigged than rolling a dice. They have a Random Number generator for each "reel" on the machine.

Edit to add. The reason I know about the machines is because the company I work for builds them.

You really believe this? This is berating her? I've seen couples argue in public I've seen where a man would say toundont gotta pay I got this and I didn't think it was berating. This si someone looking for 15 seconds of fame

Who knows at this point? I had read earlier, circulating around, that she was separated from him. Maybe as to why. Sure we'll find out soon enough now that she's back in the US.

a las vegas starbucks employees says the shooter was always berating his girlfriend...

i don't have a link but on one of the MSM"s that shall not be named, they had a interview with a bar owner that said they were in there all the time and that were seemed like a normal couple. drinking playing video poker and black jack.

not knocking you but that is the dailymail you linked not known for real in depth investigative reporting, just a glorified tabloid.

What the member shared was originally posted by the LATimes: see here

Mendoza said when she and the other baristas saw Paddock's photo on television, they were shocked. “That’s because of what he’d done and because we have been face to face with this man so many times.”

Maybe they want more business by 15 minutes of fame for their chain store? As I said, who knows at this point?

SO...you actually "trust" the gaming commission, do you???

Mmmmm,kay!!

edit...BTW, it is mathematically impossible for you to prove a video game gives out equitable odds. Mathematically impossible! Unless you personally wrote the software, you cannot prove it...and even then you couldn't prove it!

An hour before the shooting.

And vigils stand in a mass crowd, like lambs waiting to be gunned down. But now that video is interesting.

2 shooters like in many cases when it's always reported. Why is it always reported there was 2
Shooters and then they say no it was one. It's like they have these teams where they just go around killing people(foreign elements) not our government

Money is for buying stuff. I got a bit of free money, and I bought whiskey.

As far as Paddock and which way his gambling went, that's nothing but speculation. You're supposed to report winnings to the IRS but we know how that goes.

Even if he didn't gamble away his fortune, even if he didn't go into debt, a sick gambler isn't thinking straight. As posted above, his chick split. If he had been on a loosing streak as well ... the world was against him so he's going to shoot the whole thing down. It happens.

Wow... I sure hope the folks who are going to interview the girlfriend are on the right side of this situation....

it's been a leaking sieve for those trying to suppress the truth...

Oh, and yes, you're right...gaming in general is a complete RUSE for suckers!

Vegas and all the other gaming cities couldn't keep the lights on if the customer won more than the house.

Simple math...house wins more than the customer. In the end...the gambler will always LOSE...and the house will always WIN!!

Doesn't take a really smart person to figure this out!!

Depends on how you define that? The amount of red tape and hoops we have to jump through is considerable. I cant tell you all of the details but I can tell you that EVERY machine in a casino communicates and that communication is monitored by the gaming commission. They want THEIR cut. I didn't say the odds were in your favor, I am just telling you that the machines work as advertised and they give you a chance to win when you play.

They couldn't keep the lights on if no one won anything either.
The odds are in favor of the house, but you cant win if you don't play.

What if Paddock was the intended target??? Arms deal gone bad or an insurance job?? Maybe the mass shooting was covering up the millionaires murder?

To keep things on topic, there is conflicting stories about his financial situation with regard to the casinos. Does not appear that he was in really bad shape or he would be selling his planes and other houses to cover his losses.
Most accounts are that he is or was in good shape from a winning standpoint.

Anyway, got to drop off for the evening. Got evil one armed bandits to sell tomorrow.

People might lie to themselves, but the reality of probabilities is...

If you reach your hand into a bag of (10) marbles, (6) of them blue and (4) of them white, and grab (4) marbles, you will always come out with a majority of blue marbles. Every now and then some will get a majority of white marbles...and this is how Vegas works. Keep reaching into that same bag, and eventually the laws of probability will catch up to you...and then you're just "chasing the tiger" trying to get that money back.

It's just simple probability. People can lie about it, convince themselves of all manner of extraterrestrial / god-like powers, but in the end...the law of probabilities will prevail.

It's just a RUSE!
