Ok first question. Why a country music concERT?
It was planned weeks if not months in advance.. again why a country music concert?

Why not just going into a mall killing people woulda been easier..

Why the construction of survalience of the room aka security?

Just a random mad attack really?

I respect your opinion just curious to hear how you reached your conclusion

Might have been just that, an opportune moment. Biggest Country fest, maybe biggest congregation of people during that time in Vegas, in line of sight from hotel headquarters.

@mods

My apologies, I know it was graphic, but it was relevant, and it showed an act of heroism and a very strange questionable encounter at the end. I thought that the verbal exchange between the guy taping and helping.. and whomever the authority figure at the end was... was downright suspicious

Makes sense thanks for expanding... one hell of a statement.. in his defense thou I think he was part of something bigger being a gambler to me is a vice.. I don't think he would have gone out so cowardly, he thought he was special hence a gambler.

If this was an arms deal go bad, why were the guns set up to be used?

What purpose would it serve to have the weapons fully mounted and loaded, only to have to break them back down afterwards, and take them all back out of the building?

Some posters find it "strange," that this many guns were able to make it up to the shooters room without making any noise... but then claim that it was an arms deal gone wrong?

Details. When left out, cripple everything.

This attack could have easily been carried out by a single shooter. It could have even been carried out by Paddock.

We have yet to here a good

(As I write this another person was just reported to have died from the shooting)

We have yet to here anything that has been officially reported that sounds like a possible motivation for this man to do this. This leads us to a lot of possibilities.
Some updates that I have seen on media reports
The Girl friend was NOT in Japan, she was in the Philippians.
Three cameras. TWO outside the doors One on the peephole.
12 rifles with Bumpfire stocks.
At this time they do not know which guns were used in the shooting.
At this time they do not know if any of the guns were actually illegally modified (the bump fire stock is perfectly legal)

Again why go through all of the trouble of wiring a room with cameras if he knew he was going to kill himself in the end. Even the cops can't answer that and they don't have any answers. If I know in the end I'm going to commit suicide after doing this there's no need for me to worry about anybody storming I'll do as much damage as I could and be done

a

it was a gratis room for him

Source? This has been speculated but I have yet to see confirmation

Why would you think that great view of a room would have been vacant for a huge festival like that?

The cameras were set up specifically to know who was coming. 23 guns in one room and I bet 3-4 were only used..

So he knows when the police are there.
So he can kill himself before they can subdue/kill him first.

Why go through the trouble of setting up in arms deal in a city like Vegas, in a public building, when it could be done at private venues or in a corn field/desert?

Why bother shooting at security if you are just trying to be warned so that you can shoot yourself. Your statement contradicts each other

No, it was a horrific picture for most.

I've had the sad misfortune of working around a few dead folk. It's very unpleasant. I tried to give an objective observation...horrible as it was. Sometimes things like that come without emotion, but that stems from seeing too much of it...unfortunately (and tragically).

ETA...it was "death". Many cannot deal with that kind of thing.

ETA II ... sometimes the objectivity from others (like myself) is even more disturbing.

He wouldn't need a camera for that. All he would need is to hear them knocking or trying to enter and he would kill himself then.

The question of why he did an arms deal in a hotel in Las Vegas is only really an issue if he was an illegal arms dealer.

What has been suggested is that he was actually involved in a sting operation.

Now, if that were the case and he were sanctioned, where would you set it up? In the desert, where no one can hear you scream?

Furthermore, if this was an FBI-ISIS arms deal gone wrong, why cover it up?

Why not just blame IS?

Why go through this elaborate mess to cover it up?

It doesn't make any sense.
