People seemingly forget that Trump successfully sued the NFL for being a monopoly. Trump was an outspoken owner of the New Jersey Generals that
competed in the spring (NFL off season). Trump went against the general census of other USFL owners, and was awarded a grand total of $3 when asking
for $1.2 billion. It was soon thereafter that the USFL folded, and Trump was forced to eat the investment made into the USFL.
Trump seen a weakness within the NFL, has the platform to make a stir, and successfully enacted revenge on the NFL for what happened with the USFL.
At least that's the way I see it...
Only in America will you find pro athletes serving politics while on the clock for another job, and at the same time politicians are directing a
business' narratives while on the job of politics.
Its sad to see American mentalities switch from 'Not In My Back Yard' to 'Don't Allow Anything I Am Sensitive To Anywhere Near Us'.
