I really did not like the movie for the first hour and 20 minutes. But the ending is great! Not your typical Hollywood ending. But great conspiracy stuff.

The military scenes at the end makes the movie.

Same here, thought the movie was mediocre at best until the end on the ship and after they were released.

I see a lot of people giving up on the movie during the scene when April is stuck in the basement with Melanie. It was really monotonous at that point.

But boy, that was no typical Hollywood ending. The ending reminded me of how the movie Brazil ended.

Never heard of it. The trailer seems it's more of a teen horror movie

I just finished it. Skipped a bit but not much. The kind of ending to make you swear a little. And was the man in black at the end a kind of homage to Cancer Man from X-files? That's the feeling I got when I saw him, haha.

The special effects were surprisingly good. As for the story, it's just sad they went cliché on lots of stuff, but still, enjoyable.

And don't read my post if you don't want spoilers...

PS: After years of studying us, you'd think the aliens would know by now how to properly do an anal probe. My 2 cents on that, lol.
