The President does have the same freedom of speech as everyone else. Check out some of the US Constitution sometimes. You will be surprised that the US President has the same rights as a US citizen ( because they are?)
Trump and I do have three things in common :
1) We are not Politically Correct and nothing at all says we have to be.And really dont give a rat's a** what anyone "thinks"
2) We say what we mean and mean what we say. See #1
3) Evidently we both like "poking" a certain political group of US citizens
Comprendes ?

Can anyone here imagine any past president doing what Trump did?

Even Bush, who was severely criticized over Katrina, didn’t waste his time responding to his critics, but did reverse himself and eventually do the right thing in NO.

This is not leadership it’s a selfish, childish response to people in trauma that depend on American leadership.

If I ran Twitter, I would ban Trump.

Tell him to shut up and do his job, or resign

So, if you ran twitter you would shut down peoples opinions you didn't like.... sounds about right (or I should say radical left).
As for wasting time - yeah, we've heard all about how writing a twitter post somehow makes a difference to what gets done... still doesn't make any sense, but crack on.

What exactly is Trump not doing?

Amazing isn;t it - the federal govt sends thousands of resources and millions in aid and yet ALL the fault is with Trump for any problems, but YAY for the mayor... none of it could possibly be her fault and how dare you suggest such a thing - after all she's a liberal minority woman, a truly protected class

If you turn your head to left ninety degrees, you’ll see what reality looks like from outside the Twitter bubble.

Twitter bubble? I think I've tweeted once in the last three weeks. I didn't find out about the President's tweets from seeing them on Twitter either. So your dismissive statement doesn't really apply here.

And I thought Trump tweeting was supposed to be a good thing? Is that only a good thing if the only people on Twitter to read his tweets are his supporters?

Sure.

Deny free expression.

It's a common theme.

Almost threw up at her latest virtue signalling... pretending she was not attacking the President and she's just trying to save lives... clearly not doing a very good job of it. She should be replaced with someone who can get the job done as she is clearly incompetent.

The bashing most go on, and on and on, I am just getting tired of it, many people have not clue about PR, my Island where most of my family live, where I was born, where my brother thanks to his position in the Island can be in touch with me and has been since before of the Hurricane.

La comandante is a political hag that her position is due to the many rich friends that pay her way into the major seat in San Juan and next the governors.

Nobody wants her but money talks and BS walk.

What are you going on about? Of course the President has freedom of speech. And? Does that mean he should spend his days telling fart jokes? No? Because that would be unbecoming of the POTUS?

I dgaf about political correctness or how much you do or don't care about political correctness. But I'll tell you that the groupthink phrasing of your "virtue signaling" would seem to indicate that you do in fact adhere to your own preferred variety of political correctness.

Since you have someone actually there that you talk to and are not just parroting anti-Trump crap, can you tell us about the ongoing recovery efforts?

Man this thread is a total dumpster fire. I use to really enjoy coming to this site. After the election i took a little break because, holy god, the entire site was insane. Figured the name calling would die down after a bit. And upon my return see that not much has changed. You guys should be ashamed. People are dead and suffering right now. But all you can manage is to sling insults at one another. These are human beings.

Right/ Left. You guys really think there is a difference? Like ANY people in power have your best interests in mind. I thought this site was about denying ignorance. But all i see lately is the denial of logic.

Anyhow carry on with your insults.

So far, the liberal solutions to what Trump should have instead done to help Puerto Rica in here are, should have had Melania wear better shoes in Houston, should have built a 1,100 mile long bridge connecting Florida to Puerto Rico to drive supplies like was done in Katrina, should have repaired Puerto Rica's ports to accept off shore aid in a few days, should have banned himself from twitter and should be less evil.

And people wonder why modern liberals are labelled whiners without solutions.

How do you feel as a Puerto Rican about these statements from your fellow Trump supporters?

Allentown Pennsylvania is a cesspool now because of the Puerto Rican invasion. Most don't bother to learn English. They only value their cars. I agree, they're lazy. Worse part is until now if they faced child support or crimes they would flee back to Puerto Rico.

And are you joining the useful idiots and the President in declaring that Puerto Ricans are lazy?

Not all but many are.

Take a look at some pics and vids of the area, notice how nobody is pitching in and clearing roadways for aid to reach its destination?

Just continue being a useful idiot and spreading fake news and fake outrage.

Dude, they are pretty lazy.

Like, really lazy.

REALLY.

He's seriously sent a lot of aid, too bad Puerto Ricans can't handle their own affairs too well. Imagine if Puerto Rico was not our colony. They'd have no idea what to do.

By the way, I'm in favor of giving Puerto Ricans independence because we could seriously do without them and their problems. One of their problems being that they're lazy.

Just curious if you agree or if political correctness within your political tribe keeps your from speaking out against other tribe members.

Ella es nuestra fiel luchadora por la independencia, por el socialismo y el Chavismo en Puerto Rico.

That is the Major of San Juan, she is a veiled socialist and fighting to get PR independent so she can sell PR to her rich friends, then the population of PR will really starve.

She is been compare to Hugo Chavez.

I'd be interested to hear it too. I've got a couple of friends with family in PR but only one of them has had any contact with anyone and it was a few days ago and brief.

Calling people lazy while on a weekend golf trip. Yeah, ok. Keep them thumbs moving! Maybe we'll get lucky and Trump will soon get carpal tunnel.

I was wondering what the next waste of time would be after the NFL kneeling.
