Sometimes, the search engine seems to know what I want to type in, before I have even formulated the thought. Sometimes, it happens when I type the first 2 letters, and I was thinking about something VERY COMPLEX! It is somewhat disturbing to me from time to time. I believe there may be some sort of Artificial Intelligence that may be associated with these types of experiences. I have noticed that I don't use the internet as much, and it seems that the search doesn't seem to know as much. My determination is to use the internet less, and these things will not happen as often.

I think the biggest example of syncronicity would be when you can thoughts or ideas or concerns and those almost immediately manifests themselve unrelated to you yourself in reality, like an event somewhere, or someone you don't know says something that is basically what you just thought some minutes ago.

But the issue is that without monitoring yourself objectively (which is more or less impossible) you can't be completely sure that the very thought you had was induced because of exactly the event you think is synchronising, because you didn't realise it was being mentioned on the radio fx and you picked it up subconsciously.

And as soon as you begin observing yourself, you will make different choices.

I wonder if synchronicity can land somewhere near the vicinity of deja vu as being a form of mind glitch.

But I have had examples of synchronicity that made me stop and think "that was odd....."

Yea. You get it.

Good work, seriously. Most people are still driving blind.

Since you mentioned Netflix: quite often it pauses when I leave, without me hitting the spacebar or anything.
But I guess that's not what you mean.

Ummm...whenever that happens...like last week...I made a really good and relevant post reply and then whoosh...gone

It's happened quite a few times...

Took a couple times for me to realize it was my apple mouse...that directional swipe surface version...I had to learn to keep my damned fingers off the top of it when I moved the curser...

Maybe if I wrote my posts in Pages or Author or office or word...then copy and pasted it would prevent that...Oh well...

I've had my Xbox controller turn itself off and refuse to work just before a power cut, I turned off the console then bam. Power went out.

How about

Because the power was dropping, killed the box then finally went out.

You mean something like, when you search google or enter websites like these and suddenly your typing gets slow?
or when you do a google request in searching something it always exists?
or questions seem to rise and searching for answers start to follow?

As if the internet is becoming aware of your thoughts and you aware of that the internet knows what you're doing?

I'm lazy.

I've used ad blockers in the past, didn't seem to work so well with Facebook.

I just don't use sites with malicious and intrusive adds, Facebook is manageable. Considering I use the Internet via a mobile, console and rarely a desktop it really isn't a problem.

Since I can't have ad blockers on my Xbox and I only visit a few sites on my phone it's never been much of an issue.

Ugh.

I keep getting adds for "super-foods", one in particular. It's friggin gruel man... Ugh.

I've never looked for nor bought such products before. Come to think of it maybe it's trying to tell me something.

It doesn't have to be a direct relation but cookies can also target people who are interested in stuff that the people who made the add think would be the type of people who would be inclined to click the add.

Yeah. Just a waste of advertising money to me. Even when I do look up recipes or buy food online, it's never "healthy" stuff, not necessarily unhealthy but to say it's a reach to make the link is an understatement.

That being said, I've always wondered if cookies and targeted advertisements can cross over from devices. Like as in multiple users of the same Internet whom happen to accidentally get adds targeted for another user.

It could explain some things, it's also an elephant in the room... Since it indicates that ISP providers and advertisement companies are building a detailed database based on us.

They know who lives where, what they like and how to influence them.

Scary?

Maybe. But it's surely unhealthy. Reminds me of a human phenomena, the gossiper. We all know one, they seem to know everybody and everything about them.

They tend to be sociopaths.

A sense of humor? Before it was mentioned as a Mandela Effect, I watched while over at lyrics.wikia.com, the name of artist "Pete Townsend" changed to "Pete Townshend" which it is now, and forever shall be. That was real-time while I had pulled it up as "Townsend" and went back to the album listings it switched. Nothing I can do about it so I don't bother running around like a madman trying to get everyone's attention that it, and other things, have changed.

I was reading ATS and I swear my screen winked at me! My background is black,; it started at the corners, it became grey (not completely black), and quickly closed to the center like a camera aperture closing, then back to its regular black. I was reading the simulation theory! Go figure!

I tried responding to a post three times. Never got through. I posted a thread last week and my browser crashed. Like I was not needed or something! Seems to happen a bunch here on ATS but not as often "out there". Only way I got back on was clearing my browser history! Why is that a solution?!

There was this one time I ran across a paper about nuclear fusion plasma and how they figured out how to align it so the paths over lap. The whole thing pushed against each other like a ball of rubber bands with the outer edges confined by magnetic fields. That allowed a full heating and a lowering of the conditions where fusion ignition would happen. I found it on google. Now, I can't find that paper and article anywhere! There are no articles about controlling plasma like rubber bands! If an article and/or paper shows up then I will be convinced the interweb is rigged!!

I was like... WTH?!!

Then I just chuckled! Yeah, a good sense of humor!

My mouse has a mind of its own. I move it straight up (to like a menu) and it zips off to a corner. Not the reset, (0,0) of the lower left hand, which ever one is closest! One of them is screen hide (lower right), so there are times when hitting 'Reply' the screen goes blank! I've had the cursor just start wandering on its own!

That one is trippy!

The arrow just walking off to the left like a muppet!

Google analytics engines and clever use of DHTML cause a lot of this "synchronicity" If you don't have your guard up, you can get interactions that are indeed, very spooky.

The most important thing that people should remember, is that most computer performance and weird application issues occur because you are accumulating tracking cookies without regularly cleaning them off. Once you go back to a site that is monitoring this tracker, then what ever their agenda is, the fun starts.

There are many cleaners, and I recommend SuperAntiSpyware because it is free and effective.

well when somone used to repair computers and still remembers a lot on how they work including deleting cookies on browser close...

Particularly on ATS and only ATS I was having amazingly long load times and odd packet loss..
This was only on devices I own, not on other peoples devices...

I flushed the DNS.. Went so far as redoing everything I had a setting to access.. Remade my network.. Everything I could think of..

Then I said "what if its on purpose?" Like enroute?

installed a VPN and ATS sped way up to speeds youd expect on my 100Mbps line which I tested actually hits 100Mbps often.

odd that a VPN would fix problems that looked like DNS server issues..

I had a lot of stress back in those days..

The issue was only with my computer at first, but then when it got unbarable I switched to my phone and it went fast for a week or two then the same problem..

I was having more direct scariness at the time as well. may be related maybe not though, including death threats.

Smooth sailing now though.

other people with the same symptoms only on ATS also greatly improved 10 minute page loads and quirks to regular page loads through use of a VPN.. No idea why that helps, but I first experienced this on facebook talking to somone who was "intetesting" my internet cut out every 3 minutes when I was in contact with that person.

I dont even allow autocorrect or saved passwords or anything so I have no need for saved cookies, and I like to full reinstall windows and even lose all data in the clean reinstall to know its clean unless they are deeper in there than windows.. Who cares at that point lol..

I do suspect algorithms are good enough now to cause quirkiness very specific to certain user patterns maybe even as behavior modification as pointed out in a brookings institute talk where they wanted more NGOs to be doing behavior modification online since laws stopped the government itself from being so brazen.

phase one targeted ISIS.
phase two targeted "the far right"
phase three they mentioned would go into effect but did not state its target..

let me see....

i think it was this one but im at a bar on my phone..

youtu.be...

in any case your internet experience may be training you.. At the time my internet experience was nudging me away from ATS.. But I'm back lol.

I have a friend who was convinced that his phone had been hacked by Satan.

I had similar problems at one time with a Google Nexus phone, along with some very strange weirdness on my PC. It's a long story.

For reasons that I can't really begin to explain, I think that's a good call and a great move. I just hope he got the memo. They should consider expanding his mandate to include all data communications and the Internet as well while they're at it.

If it's aliens, then they'd be in a whole heap of trouble..

Half joking..

I have a few more.

If i bring up a page that is remotely pornographic, my screen will flash blue, a lot. Im not supposed to peek, apparently. Interesting too, because my buddy who has an inbred father that worked for the CIA, told his son (my friend) to avoid porn...

Also, with voice to text, a few times ive muttered gibberish into the phone, but the results are coherent sentences about stuff im thinking about or doing. An example is if im selling a bike, ill mutter gibberish during voice to text, and the result will say something like:

"Yea i dont know but if you sell it for less, then youll get the bike off your hands quickly."

Im not kidding...

Another is a couple texts i received from an ex girl friend in 2012.

The texts were odd because it was almost like someone spliced someone elses text in the middle of her texts to me.

One text had normal text from her telling me she missed me, but the middle had a section that said "the electronics are in place. Im not running away from this, but i dont want to take accountability."

The next text was similar, in that there was a section of the text that seemed inserted that said "you are all such beautifecent little ants."

I asked her to copy and text her original texts to me, and they didnt have the inserted bizarre sections.

I have hundreds of experiences like this. Dont know why, and tbh, im not afraid any more, just really confused.

Maybe i have super powers.

Maybe aliens like to mess with us.

Very interesting! Keep it coming! Total weirdness. Love it!

Your testimony seems to support my contention that it's different aliens who may be assigned to a particular person of interest, where it's unique to that individual, in your case to warn you away even from blue porn. lol

This is precisely the kind of thing I was referring to in the OP.

Why do I say Aliens? Because it doesn't seem to be a bunch of black hat ass hat clowns playing around with their newfound powers from some underground base somewhere, but instead carries with it a sense of the mysterious including synchronicity or highly meaningful coincidence.

Like a spooky glitch in the matrix that's been exploited by certain PTB that don't seem human.

Does anyone remember a time when there was a big argument in the House of Reps over a black bag CIA top secret satellite?

Many were arguing VEHEMTLY against it and calling it an abomination..

I even remember, about two years ago now, or a little less, some hoopla in the Canadian Parliament over some top secret military level authorization for some sort of massive secret space-based information gathering program, and these guys who were leading it, had the gravest cop-like faces I've ever seen, and the first thought I had was OMG, they're just going to hand over all control to some evil overlords, and they know it.

Such an upload might require earth-based authorization, but once done it could be shared and spread all over the universe.

For all we know one whole civilization is focused exclusively on you, like the Truman Show.

If they can't keep human civilization on track, then we're all just going to fall again like a loaf in the oven.

Even some of the malevolent forces are given leeway from time to time, while their limitation and constraint ought to be duly noted.

In other words, you could send them an idea that's so revolutionary that it could have it's own blowback consequences at their end, and then we get the last laugh, see.

As someone else pointed out there's a certain playful and ironic humor to it, and what I'm saying is that it's a two way street because it always takes two to tango.

And hey, when all is said and done, it's just a computer, and a bunch of electrons.

Maybe it's high time to push back from the computer console and get out in the real world and wind down our on-line activity, like a type of silent protest while we reclaim our power and our birth right.

Once you're fully aware, and unafraid, that really messes with THEM! one might speculate, when we play this thing out to it's ultra-rational conclusion.

Best regards,

Ankh
