What do you expect from a group of America hating anarchists?

These animals are a tool of Soros and his history with the Nazi Brownshirts.

I do not blame your average liberal for these fools.

Who are you to judge anyone when you support a murderer?

But its the Trump people marching side by side with the KKK and the Nazi groups, actually being ignorant and racist. Antifa affiliates stand against that.

Yes Nazis like Ben Shapiro that they were shutting down.

But we know your prescription for trump supporters, so of course you would stick up for the antifa terrorists.

I'd say he's more of a liar who's whoring himself out to the right at the moment. He could easily switch left if the money is better or pisses off the snowflake faction of the right. Guys like him have no compass.

Sure that must be it.

He is a who're for money.

Unreal.

Calling "Anti-Fascism" a group is what is making the Right Nazi's.

Unify and admit you're anti-fascist too, without prescribing yourself such a stupid label.

Because it's reasonable to be anti-fascist without being antifa.

Those are the types of conversations people interested in bring America together would address.

Not the division garbage you post about the people you are directly talking to being 'terrorist sympathizers' because they don't agree with the second faction of terrorists you're aligned with.

Talking about the messenger, Nazis, Trump, is an attempt to dismiss the content of that video.

Yep. I mean this group of people that publicly admit all over that they shouldn't allow conservative speakers like Shapiro to speak in public, and using violence is an appropriate tool to stop them, we need to stop labeling them. That's the real problem.

What nonsense. This is a group that over and over has been violent and silenced free speech.

They have been labeled a terror group in New jersey, and I believe in parts of Europe.

But you are right. Oh, and I bet you criticized people for limping all the people in Charlottesville as Nazis or white supremacists.

Oh no I forgot, when it's the other side, it's ok to use labels.

They know what they are doing.

Its must be a fake video, the guy who did it must be a jerk, its not fair to use the label antifa, it's only one or two people, they have a second amendment that allows them to have sawn off shotguns and ak's, they are justified because they are standing up to racists.

Etc.

It's amazing the mental gymnastics that they will show to keep from admitting how terrible antifa is.

I'm talking about hypocrisy.

If I start calling myself the police, and murdering people, are you going to say the police are bad?

This psy op is so simple I can't believe I even have to explain it. Obviously Fascism is still bad correct?

Perhaps that is the best starting foot in conversations with 'antifa' over common ground and getting them to 'relax'?

Or maybe we should riot violently against them with our own force to show them who is greater, gee I wonder who would act like that?

Not everything is won with force. Every time you get to call the next 'libitard' a 'cuck' that is defeat in unification of the Republic.

All I'm saying is we're really going to not try any strategy involving communication with a group that has a clear common enemy? Sounds unreasonable.

this is one Antifa group. If they could show continuity and central planning that would be more solidifying.

The amount of activity and its pervasiveness in current protests across the nation is what is new. Most people, up until recently, had never heard of Antifaschistische Aktion before (probably because it was a movement on an entirely different continent in the age of zero social media or internet).

Something of note, though, is that the American version is an after effect from the "Anti-Racist Action" movement started by the punk and skinhead scene in the 80s, for the most part, so they are relatively new in that regard.

This current movement has not been active or around very long...I think that it's disingenuous to call people out for acting like they're a new group when, for all intents and purposes, this American version is. It's not as new as BLM, but it is relatively new and is not a direct continuation of Antifaschistische Aktion from the 1920s and 1930s in Germany.

The Irony is most of them are pro socialism......yet they hate nazis...

The word nazi is an abbreviation of ""Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" - the National Socialist German Worker's Party in Germany......

I cannot believe they are so stupid as to not understand that......

Coincidentally they are acting like brown shirts.......or maybe its not a coincidence, the lack of knowledge of history is astounding now days....

Still waiting for our local frendly ATS leftists to denounce these extremists. The lack of them in this thread is telling. Sadly I'm afraid many of whome actually support ANTIFA and their actions.

In regards to the op. Listening to these people talk about firearms is telling to their lack of knowledge of the subject.

Props to not gay Jared for having the balls to infiltrate them like that.

'support' is a strawman in a single word to create a divisive people.

Condoning people's legal right to protest is not the same as supporting the actual protested material.

Sorry to bring that up, as it's an incredibly important detail as the Right continually paints their own enemies anyway, and almost no one in the months I've used ATS have ever once claimed to be antifa.

You're your own brand of disinfo terrorism labeling people here as such. Be careful what you wish for sheesh.

Funny how 'they' 'admit' all the time these 'Antifa' groups are bad and counterproductive. Does that mean I need to go gullible and swallow obvious propaganda? Did you not learn anything from all those other hoax videos.

Glad the cops arrested these people. Worth noting that, as far as I know anyway, there are no confirmed reports of Antifa stabbing the other hooligans that you right-wingers love to ignore, with giant knives or ice picks — or brandishing, much less firing any weapons (AK-47s included).

There was that hoax where the guy claimed to have been slashed for his "fashy" haircut and a viral hoax about a stabbing in Berkeley, at the Ben Shapiro event.

Probably the worst I've seen from them beyond fighting is the bike lock professor who is thankfully out of circulation.

At any rate, the whole thing is rather disgusting but I can't help but feel that the non-stop barrage of Antifa-related everything in the right-wing echo chamber rings a bit hollow given the complete lack of f#s, when not applause, given to violent assholes who regularly line up against Antifa.

In a June clash in Sacramento, CA, between Antifa and neo-Nazis from the Trad Workers, several Antifa were stabbed but I don't think any of the neo-Nazis were.

There's of course also video of white supremacists of some variety or another brandishing firearms in Charlottesville, with one of them taking a shot at a local (who wasn't in Antifa). Oh, and there was that whole running over a bunch of people and killing one with a car thing.

I don't disagree with being anti-Antifa but it sucks that so many on the right only seem to care about this ongoing violence in the context of perpetuating the Antifa boogeyman and political point scoring.

The entire problem with this statement is that there isn't a single figurehead of the right that is praising any of the Nazi's that you like to conflate with the right wing. Nazi's are usually ran out of the room in any right wing congregation because we know what they really are. They are socialist. Always have been, always will be. They are just the ugly step child of leftism that you don't want to claim.

I can't remember who it was on the right that described the Nazi's in Charlottesville as "some very fine people"?
