I'd Guess maybe 5 Percent of those who watch the NFL stand for the Anthem. The hypocrisy is HUGE

This is you're deflection from the disrespect these people are displaying? That I don't stand in my living room so their actions are justified?

Classic...

Most likely the flag was made in China as well.

Funny thing is that if trump hadn't sounded off on this it never would have been the issue its become. It's as juvenile as the universities holding support sessions after Trump won. Anyone taking a side on this is a snowflake true and tried.

I don't stand and don't care if people do or not. We have the freedom to choose.

Men and women fight and die for my right to stand, kneel, lay down, or go to the bar during the anthem.

Thank you to all who serve to protect and defend my rights per the constitution.

I won't even stand for the national anthem when i am in the stands. I see patriotism as a ritual practiced by imbeciles.

So you dont honor any respected rituals. Things that are given.

Say that in court, when you give oath.
Say that in church when asked to stand.
Say that when meeting am important figure you bow your head to.

nah, you're gonna give the judge, pastor and queen the finger and say "I dont have to, you're rubbish!"

Follow decorum and etiquette. Nah, you just enforce it like a nazi oppressor.

jesus the idiotic things I read in here lately.

"Im not gonna..." dummy spit.

Are you referring to 36 USC? Ah yes, the same section of law that tells us about our national tree. That's a declaratory section of code; not enforceable. Good to know that you are another person that needs a law book to explain patriotism to you.

Actually you just straw-manned OPs argument if you need an example for the future.

Did you REALY just refer to yourself in third person?

In that case, tell tjack no one really cares if they make fallacious arguments or not.

I don't stand up in my home. But in the stadium when they say "Please rise for the anthem" I stand for the anthem.

What's the point?

I believe the point had to do with the wailing and gnashing of teeth among some here who are such devout Americans that they stand, salute, and honor the Flag and our Anthem at every opportunity and hate those that don't ... except of course, when they don't stand while they're getting beer from concession, or in the toilet, or at home.

It's a matter of blatant hypocrisy on the part of some; OP is just drawing a red line under it.

You just refuse to acknowledge the point, don't you.

This is the entire reason this argument has gone on so long..

You DON'T want it to end.

Lefty.

Core authoritarians come out in droves for a good Flag sermon. Like flies on fecal material.

I just re-read your post. What is your grievance? I don't get it.

It is about the hypocrisy of dishonest partisan ideologues who wrap themselves in the fake cloak of patriotism while pretending to judge others on whether their patriotism is sufficient.

But really, it's not.

It's a point scoring test to make a new thread. She said as much herself.

I wonder why everyone who has responded or posted this pic is more than ok with her breaking the flag "code"?
More selective outrage.

I sure hope Trump has called her out and Im sure everyone here so upset with the NFL has already tracked her and her place of business down to let them know how you feel.

I did say I wanted to poll ATS to see how many people stood while at home in a bar etc. If you can't understand why that's your problem.

I don't know about over there, but it's a big issue here. We berate them when they do it. Yobbos draping the flag around them and running around like idiots.

So I can only assume it is the same there. It just doesn't get done by main stream hooligans who feel they have the right to disrespect the flag on national TV. They, there, just stick their finger up at the flag, and expect everyone to go "Oh Boy, what a twist!" and adopt their bollocks ideology.

Here's a tip. Protest in a way that BRINGS people to your cause, not angers them to the point they think you're an ass.

Typical socialist wankers though, short of burning buildings down, low intellect miscreants.

Have at it Gryphon.
