And yeah back then, nobody cared who was Christian, or Muslim or Jew.

If you dared to say you were not a complete atheist, there goes your whole village.
Even some Buddhist Japanese were in the camps.

Ironic perhaps nowadays, how people starved and huddled together in whipping sub-zero winds.

Brother, give me some warmth, I am so glad you are next to me.

Hand me an axe, before the wind makes me blind, and the tears freeze on my face.

I know this thread is a couple weeks old, but noticed a couple of posts about "Long Pork".

It is apparently a translation of "Puaa Oa", from the Marquesan language used on some of the Pacific Islands where cannibalism was prevalent.

The english translation being "Long pig".

Long Pig

Well, different people have different tastes....

But seriously folks, yikes.... I mean, I knew times were tough in Russia, but...just...damn....

Thing is, with all of the chemicals we humans consume, it just doesn't seem safe to consume the "meat" of us....let alone the morality issues.

But what about the unique satisfaction of eating someone you really don't like?
Can't buy that.
