No. It wouldn't kill all who didn't evacuate. But it certainly would increase cancer rates.
You can ask the (former) residents of the Marshall Islands about how it works.

Really, if there is going to be a nuclear war I would not bother reading that , I would learn yoga, then proceed to put my head between my legs and bend upwards and kiss my ass goodbye.

Hey, this is pretty much what Californians do anyways. Slam out the yoga mat and go into head-up-the-ass pose namasteeeee

1.6% of Cancers Attributed to the 66 Nuclear Bombs tested there.

Ya that's totally it. Only you forgot to mention that first we all go surfing or swimming with dolphins to charge our Chi.

How sheltered or socially awkward are you to have never gone outside your house???

I go outside my house all the time...I go to California (not by choice of course.)

And California comes to my house all the time (not by choice of course.)

Overall, yes. Because that report covers a wide area.

Rongelap may be more representative of the scenario you present directly downwind of the tests.
Your source:

For the 82 people who lived on Rongelap atoll, the authors projected 55% of all cancers might be attributed to fallout exposure.

Hopefully they eat healthy and exercise, so that less than 5 of the 82 get any form of cancer.

That doesn't do much good against beta radiation.

That's 55%, more than half.

In any case, no, not everyone who doesn't evacuate would die, as your alleged source claimed.

California should just ship N.K. several tons of Quad-A grade Cannabis as a gift. Once everyone in North Korea is high, and they realize they have no food to sooth the munchie cravings, they will immediately submit to any request in exchange for Twinkies, Doritos, and Pizza. Oh, then probably more Pot. I see an economic and peaceful resolution here...

Lol. Interestingly pot is not only legal in North Korea, but the regime encourages citizens to smoke it to mellow them out. Always wondered though how the munchies played into the starvation side of things

California...what did these kids do to make you hate these children? God forgive such a cruel thought and those who agree.
Persons under 5 years, percent, July 1, 2016, (V2016) 6.3%
Persons under 18 years, percent, July 1, 2016, (V2016) 23.2%

Observations. Empirical Data. Real-world experience.

When you go outside CA you'll notice how the rest of us are.

What a POS thing to say. Are you an American??? If so where are you???

Cali is one of the most productive States in this Nation. We have the 7th largest economy in the World. We produce a major part of all the food you eat and so much more you just take for granted.

But I'm curious what kind of person is f*cked up enough to actually hope for a certain state to get hit. Millions of people here and that's your comment.

In 2010, eight of the 10 states with the highest population received the most. California, the most populous state in the country, receives the largest share — more than a third of a trillion dollars.

www.foxbusiness.com...

I'm sure there are more updated statistics, but while California is very successful and has been for some time, it is off of the backs of every American.

Just saying...

You know California produces about 7 times that number don't you?

Just saying.

Find another state that approaches that ratio.

I've been out of Cali.

But then, I'm not the one talking sh*t about other places when I don't even live there. That was you who did that. So there's no point in trying to turn this around on me, like I was talkin' out my ass. That was you who did that.
