Yeah. The only references I see to BLM in that wiki article are people blaming the organization after the fact, but I see no explicit affiliation mentioned between Johnson and BLM. The article does mention that he searched for the following organizations before the shooting but it doesn't suggest that he was a member of them either:

An investigation into his online activities uncovered his interest in black nationalist groups.[77] The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and news outlets reported that Johnson "liked" the Facebook pages of black nationalist organizations such as the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), Nation of Islam, and Black Riders Liberation Army, three groups which are listed by the SPLC as hate groups.[88] On Facebook, Johnson posted an angry and "disjointed" post against white people on July 2, several days before the attack.[89]

Still no BLM though.

He was in Dallas for a BLM rally.

He was a member of black supremacists organization.

But he wasn't a BLM member.

The amount of intellectual dishonesty you display is astounding.

I can't spend any more time arguing with the intellectually dishonest.

Have a great day!

Start there for what? What is the significance of the absence of the "biological dad" have to do with this topic?

I was raised never get on my knees for anyone.

It's a position of subservience, of surrender, of cowardice.

"Get on your knees", "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees", "He/she dropped to his/her knees and begged", history is full of events of people on their knees and it's always for the same reasons (and never a place of strength).

Spoilt athletes want to get on their knees after making millions to play a game to "protest" - its' probably where they belong.

Did you happen to cross reference the players who kneeled with those who were arrested?

20-40 million a year to play what every teenager plays for fun? yep spoiled.

Are only African-Americans taking a knee? I was unaware of that.

So? Still doesn't mean he was a member of the organization.

He was a member of black supremacists organization.

No. He looked up Facebook information about them, but it doesn't look like he was a member of those either.

But he wasn't a BLM member.

Doesn't look like it from the information you provided unless you want to make assumptions and leaps in logic.

The amount of intellectual dishonesty you display is astounding.

I can't spend any more time arguing with the intellectually dishonest.

What is intellectually dishonest about not saying something is true when the information isn't present to show that? There is nothing in that wiki article you provided that shows he is a member of BLM. YOU are being intellectually dishonest by suggesting he was in the organization in lieu of evidence showing that is the case.

Though you are one to never miss an attempt to ad hominem me when the argument gets tough for you.

When the flag is presented to the family of a fallen soldier the serviceman presenting it takes a knee. That is why Kaepernick decided on that gesture. He originally just sat down. But after a conversation with former Green Beret Nate Boyer he decided that by taking a knee he could still express respect to the fallen while protesting.

So are those that present the flag weak cowards?

It's a fairly common practice among most of the world's Christians and Muslims across all of history?

The Bible seems to suggest that God and Jesus prefer folks on their knees ...

Isaiah 45:23

"I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

Psalm 95:6

Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

Romans 14:11

For it is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD."

Jesus knelt in prayer in the Garden ... aren't Christians supposed to follow His Example in all things?

Culture or lack there of...

"I am not going to stand up and show pride in a flag for a country that oppressed black people and people of color"--'kaepernick

Cry a Niagara falls every minute and it is still

Pure b.s..

Standing for a flag that was so involved in slave trade, oppression and atrocities...yeah makes sense.

Make a difference starts at home.

it's weird to me that just because these guys are making a lot of money doing what they love equates to being spoiled... sounds more like jealousy.

pretty sure they worked their asses off to get where they are.. a lot probably coming from poverty. but, they're spoiled in your eyes.. odd.
