He didn't start it and you know it. That's just your take on things. He merely vocalized what many people were thinking and who better to make the comment or raise the issue to a higher level than the President. I seem to recall Obama saying some pretty stupid crap during his tenure, but he always managed to get a pass. Hmmmm.

So no articulating as to the meaning? Just getting offended that I asked you to defend your intelligence? Oh well. Proved my point. Thanks.

And as sports fans, if we are subjected to seeing guys who are paid to play a game( and paid absurdly well) and to entertain us and they make ignorant protests, we have a right to be mad. Maybe its patriotic, but its inarguably IDIOTIC on their part.

they looked like whiney children? really?

I thought they looked respectful, reverent and strong...

and, then I think about those asshole neo-Nazi's. they looked weak and idiotic in comparison - like scared animals.. gross.

president calls the players sob's and the Nazi's fine people.

useful idiots.. it's clearer than ever.

How is asking you to explain what the flag's symbolism represents berating and belittling? Do you feel inadequate when your ignorance is exposed or something? I mean, I personally don't care, you just have to admit you don't know what you are talking about. It's not the end of the world to let your pride take a hit. Or you can take the playground route of calling me an "ignorant dolt" while offering no substance to your posts whatsoever. I guess that works too.

What I find hilarious is the same people who post all over these threads claiming "you people", "the left" and "liberals" are snowflakes and/or triggered... are the same ones having a meltdown because people are kneeling rather than standing.

Throw it together with the staunch Trump supporters who bang on about the 1st amendment who have suspiciously gone quiet over Trumps latest tantrum.

Crying over people taking a knee when your country is being run by a man-child. You couldn't make this up!!!
I mean the world thought America was a laughing stock with Bush... this is just a whole new level of comedy.

Yeah, the world hates that America is sticking up for itself again, not rolling over like Obama.

First Amendment works both ways, they have the right to disrespect the anthem and people have the right to voice their opinions on it.

All of zero people are telling you you don't have the right to voice your anger over these players protesting. You are literally inventing an argument out of thin air to attack.

Being brainwashed with the pledge of allegiance from a young age will do this to people.

It’s the equivalent of a religion being indoctrinated into a child’s mind from birth.
I include Islam in that for all the smart arses that were about to star whore because of my Faith.

At the end of the day, if you place a piece of fabric, or a chant before Humanity, you’re a weirdo of the highest degree.

Now all the armchair pundits will chastise you or deny that you served, because they have nothing else to fall back on in their brainwashed states.

Which is what the pledge was designed to do. It's purpose was to separate out god fearing Americans from the godless communists.

Godless is bad is it? Surely it is better to be good because you want to be, rather than because you fear repercussions. Not believing in a god has no relevance in how good someone is.

So you think that throwing feces and urine is comparable to running 19 people over and killing one with a car?

Need to check the facts. But if they did start walking dead swarming the car and hitting it provoking a panic, they did this to themselves.

The gov lets thing escalate again doing it to themselves. You put your hand in a food processor you re responsible for what happens

Wow... just wow.

Please check your facts. Are you actually blaming the people who were hit by the car because someone else was annoying the driver.

If I hit car with a baseball bat and he drives into you... did YOU do this to yourself.

I can't believe after all the footage that was revealed people are still trying to find a cop out for someone who drove their car into a crowd of anti-Nazi protestors.

Respecting the national anthem is not what being an American is.

Nationalism is a blight on humanity. Its no different than racism. Birthright is imaginary, conjured up by human ego.

Expecting people to be patriotic to suit you is ridiculous.

They had a permit the organizer was a leftist who invited a few nazis along with the rest to stain the right.

The police seemingly stood down suppossedly on orders from a leftist and later pushed the right through an angry mob. Again the problem here is the left that tried to start a fire and got one.

David Duke and Richard Spencer are firmly in the KKK/Alt-Right/White Supremacist Camp. They were headliners at the UNITE THE RIGHT event.

Why post blatant untruths that anyone familiar with the situation knows are lies?

The police didn't stand down, the Nazi-White Supremacists planning the meeting discussed how to conceal weapons, how to use cars as weapons, etc.

The "left" as you call it was comprised of the RESIDENTS of CHARLOTTESVILLE VA who Mr. Trump equated with Nazis and White Supremacists.
