Not to cause a Tsunami. But one question. How can one have faith in a cult?

Just asking no offense.

They can disrespect all they want, but it is not very professional when people pay money to see them play...people don't pay to see them protest.

Do people pay to see them stand for the national anthem? That's not part of their job either.

The BLM movement is literally just the latest in a constant series of pro-civil rights movements that have protested against the very same problems. Or have you already forgotten the "Hand's Up, Don't Shoot" and "I Can't Breathe" movements from recent years?

And don't forget that Dr. MLK was assassinated when giving a speech in support of the "Am I Not A Man And A Brother" movement. In fact, these same pro-judicial equality movements have existed since the Fugitive Slave Law introduced a "papers please" law enforcement policy throughout America. And that was before the Civil War even started.

Well, if these movements wouldn't exclusively tie themselves with communist agitprop where the END result is everyone being enslaved by their government, I would be more supportive of their agenda. When you yell and scream and threaten violence and break windows and set other peoples property on fire, I am automatically against you. No matter what color or religion you are.

If you continue to do so, you will also begin to make my natural human reaction to protect myself and my interests even more severe. What BLM and ANTIFA are doing is exactly that. They are making me meet and plan with like minded people who also fear this is getting out of control. I am a bit of a paranoid person, but if you succeed in turning more and more people against you due to childish and aggressive behavior, you are really begging for confrontation. I don't think any of the people doing this have thought this through and what would happen if they started getting back what they are giving.

We are a divided country.

Everyone on both sides supports free speech rights (I hope).

Players use theirs to kneel at NFL games.

I don't go to anymore NFL games because I disagree with what they are doing.

Free speech wins.

As is boycotting NFL games, merchandise and broadcasts.

This is how we are free to disagree in America.

Just so long as you didn't do it in response to Trump's suggestion, then I would agree.

I didn't think having respect for America was a Democrat / Republican thing.

We are all in this together.

I didn’t think having respect for America was a flag/Anthem thing.

You most certainly are not “all in this together” either.
Edit: (As proven by the post above and the post it’s replying to.)

When you are in your home, watching the game on TV or internet, do you stand up and place your hand over your heart during the National Anthem?

If I told you I did, would you believe me?

Most may not stand at home, but I bet it's not because they are protesting.

"Kneeling during the anthem is honoring what our founding fathers fought for"

Or so is what the new anti American trend is been pushing this days, but as usual no all Americans support this trend and only more divisions will arise.

I do not support the trend either.

Disrespecting our nation is not the same as exercising freedoms, is call anarchy..

I literally don't know what you are talking about, however, I am currently eating some delicious nachos so I am far too happy to care either.

Does anyone else find it funny that Trump (and his supporters) is complaining about silent, peaceful, protest disrespecting the country when he ran under the slogan, "Make America Great Again?"

I mean, he's pretty much saying America sucks.

I nearly spat my drink out at that one.

We're all in this together, right, unless you agree with the Constitutional rights of an NFL player.

Then we're, "unpatriotic, un-American, a disgrace, disrespectful, we should be forced to move to North Korea, we hate America, etc etc"

^ all actual comments I've seen/read on ATS.

But, right, we're all in this together.

Unless you're one of those Soros paid libtard never had a job loser wants the free stuff handout crybaby snowflake SJW. ATS has made it beyond clear that we, indeed, are NOT in this together.

Exercising Constituional rights = anarchy

Yet another one to add to the list...

But, right, "we're all in this together...."

Unless you support the Constitutional rights of NFL players.

Then you're an anarchist.

But hey - who cares. The Constitution is dumb anyway.

MUH TV MOAR IMPORTANT

What I find funny is that in order to protest Trump, they kneel to him. It's a thing of beauty.
