Also when bigots lose their job over something they have said, you cry about SJW, PC people, snowflakes and other things but want these people fired for using their first amendment right.
What is the difference?
Do Americans not also have the right to disagree with the rationale behind a protest, as well as the right to "take their business elsewhere" when a corporation or industry is backing a protest they/we/you/I/anyone disagrees with?
Get over yourself. Freedom cuts both ways. Just because a group is protesting peacefully doesn't mean they have any right to expect universal support of their cause.
Considering the NFL has a special tax status, the teams play in facilities built for them with tax dollars (Dallas being the exception), and only can exist in the former the presently do thanks to special dispensation from Congress to not apply anti-Trust laws against them... I'd say there is a large difference and just maybe the players should know their place, STFU, and stick with what they actually know:football.

It's really just guys kneeling silently. It's two minutes at the most before a 2 + hour event.
You are interpreting it as a political act; you are spoiling your own enjoyment.
Watch or don't watch; that's your right.

'2+ hour'? Have you watched an NFL game lately? It's like 3, closing in on 4, hours of sheer agonizing boredom these days filled with all the advertisements for every product I'll never need. That's why I haven't been able to watch a full game in years.

Good point. I haven't watched a game on TV recently. I know, like most things in our society, its driven by commercialism.
No pun intended.
