So don't go to games and don't watch them.

Problem solved! Everyone's rights intact.

I have a better idea. Why doesn't everyone Boycott all Trump Products until he starts having them manufactured here instead of China and every other third world nation.

He wants to act like he's such a proud American and tell other people how UnAmerican they act all the time. Maybe he should try cleaning up his own back yard first.

Hypocritical, Draft Dodger that he is.

Awesome. You've voted your conscience just like the players!

real question:

does anyone know ANY ONE who has changed their mind about anything relating to the treatment of blacks as a result of some sports dudes kneeling during the anthem?

thought so.

Do you know anyone who has been directly harmed by their actions? If no, then why do you really give a hoot? It is not the players who have blown this whole thing out of proportion. Don't like it, just ignore it.

Because I refuse to watch these priveledged players who make millions disrespect the flag. The only NFL player who had any balls was Pat Tillman who gave up a lucrative NFL contract, served, and died for the flag. So in my opinion, they're disrespecting a fellow player who went the total opposite route.

Pat would have been behind them 100%. Are YOU disrespecting him?

Having a job is a privilege?

Being there are 90+ million unemployed, I'd say yes.

Did Trump order them to fire the players?

Did Trump just "hope" they'd get fired?

Like the politician who "hoped" Trump would get assassinated, I suppose.

yep all of these people screaming about free speech.

Trump did not say it would be illegal for them to do this, he just said he hoped they would get fired.

As long as he doesn't use the law to silence them, i am just fine with him using his free speech to criticize people he sees as disrespecting the country.

Welcome freshly minted ATS member!

A> You're mixing up your statistics.

B> They're protesting in solidarity with the belief that Black Americans are treated differently by the legal system and police forces ... which is evidentially true no matter which stat you look at.

Yes black people are treated differently. How many white people are on that team? Blacks are better at sports? Well evidently they are better at crime too, hence all the attention

So the 125+ million with jobs should just shut up.

Ok.

Already implemented this strategy. No NFL for me this year.

If they want my business they need to bring the a**hats on the field in line.

I'm not even wearing my team hat.

Wow...same for me except...

My boycott is because of people and owners like you.

A player can protest what they want if they aren't hurting anyone.

And you're still preaching about your opinion and hurt feelings! It's not enough for you to have your opinion, and for them to have theirs ... you have to try to spin and reinterpret what they're doing and saying from protest to "disrespecting the flag" and go on and on about how offended you are.

Well, guess what sunshine, that's what that flag stands for, your right to be offended.

Pretty basic indeed.

You don't see any issues with the way things are.

These folks do.

The amazing thing about America is that you both get to voice your opinions.

No, no they don't.

With such a huge platform as the streets and the NFL, twitter and youtube, you would think the message would be clear.

But, nope, it's just cops bad, everyone must change so our thugs can run around and not get shot by police.

Nevermind their "hoods" breed them.

You mean YOUR hoods, as your government intentionally created them.

He does have the right to make an ass of himself.
He exercises that right on a regular basis.

Seems, though, that he is doing more to "disrespect" this country than the football players are.

I'll make my own position clear.

I have zero problem with black people.

I could careless about thugs.

I cant stand that black people allow their culture to be ruined the way it has.

Their silence has brought this on them.

It's not my job to fix it for them, or care when thugs get shot by cops.

Your government created and supports that culture.

And you have the right to have that opinion.

Free speech is great

Not a fair assessment imo. He doesn't even respect himself(his actions say). How can he respect others.
