Ok. Now, what did the players who Trump is so "butt hurt" about say, exactly?

More importantly, for what reason should they be fired?

God this squawking and hysteria about anything and everything is boring.

Let them do what they want with their knees and footballs.
Let Trump say whatever stupid thing he wants.

Thanks

Best comment I've read in this thread. Don't we have more serious things to worry about than what a bunch of millionaires do on the football field?

What is the NFL anyway besides a big money machine? A 60 minute game that takes 3+ hours to play. National anthem... commercial. Kickoff... commercial. A touchdown... commercial. Extra point... commercial. Official review... commercial. Injury... commercial.

Everyone needs to be outraged over nothing don't you know.

So tell me then, what does disrespecting fallen heroes do to further the rectification of police brutality and racial divide?

Apart from distancing yourself from people who would otherwise agree with you?

This is not about protesting, but about what is being protested. I am for police brutality being ended. Racial inequality being ended. I don't think by sticking your finger up at the entire country, is the way to go about it.

Why is this so hard for people to get?

It is not about what you think. It is about freedom.

So when the NFL stick ice cream on their heads, hop around on one leg and yell "MY PANTS ARE TIGHT" we can all agree, their freedom to act like idiots, is a given.

At least we can agree on that then... but not on why they are protesting.

So you're an authority on what religious people do now? Pfft.

If if if ... carefully now, set up a specific circumstance in which you can think you're correct.

Kneeling in prayer is acceptable in every Christian church in every country in the world. If you disagree, I'd like you to prove otherwise.

For the rest of your garbage argument Google "Strawman."

My god is right behind my eyes.

You have a problem with what other people do. Others don't. You think your opinion is the most important; it isn't.

Did you say something about arguing with children? Do you do that a lot in the nursery?

Protesting is okay.

Using your free speech to comment on protesters and you get this. . . .

Ahhh the simpsons never fails

Who did that?

It was the point made by the person I was replying to, that people are allowed to protest despite the fact that they may disrespect the fallen who fought for them to have the right to protest.

Phage, are you ok?

I don't think by sticking your finger up at the entire country, is the way to go about it.
The players did not stick their finger up at me.

I'm not playing for the NFL.

Houston has sold out it's tickets every game for years. No boycotting there.

I imagine the fans would show to boo players who kneel, not miss the game.

Sep 10, 2017 - doubt Watt takes a knee for anything.

I'm proud of who I am. I think the players are too.

Why are you proud of who you are? Sounds like a white nationalist thing to me.

I'm going to have to turn my back on you now...

Hard to parse that runon but how were the fallen being given disrespect?

I get it. Good one.

It's kind of crazy to see the president of the united states call someone a "son of a b####" and want them to lose their job all because they chose to exercise their freedom of speech.

I guess that's what everyone voted for, though.

Actually, only 46% voted for him. At best.

My god, your posts are getting sillier by the moment.

Let me break it down for you ... it's your opinion that these players who choose to kneel are being disrespectful.

Others here disagree with you.

Taa daa!

Isn't that just peachy? It's how things are supposed to work. Someone says something, others can disagree. Well done.

Yet here I am continually having to defend my disagreement with those who think they have it all rosy in their self contained world.

I just wish the points being made were not strewn asunder so that the likes of you could parrot on about the 1'st being ruined because I disagree with the REASON these dullards are protesting. Never once said they had no right to protest, just that they're DOIN' IT RONG.

Still no clue?

Nah. Zero strawmen.

Trump has said all those stupid things.

No he hasn't. People who are butthurt that he became president have said it for him, and then you claim it is his words, verbatim.

Wrong again.

It's on the record. You can cry all you want about the facts.

Show them to me, plox.

I'll hold my breath.

Any owner who did that would cause more trouble than its worth for himself and his team.

The "protest" is stupid. It heavily implies that white people and police are a threat to black people. The truth is that black people are killing black people at significantly higher rates than any other group and at only 13% of the population. Conversely, black people being killed by police is exceedingly rare! more whites are actually killed by police. So what exactly is the purpose of this protest other than dividing the country with racist propaganda?
