This is the government healthcare that the socialists and leftists wanted.

This is their dream come true.

They wanted government to see to their healthcare needs, and they got it.

Yet, the Dems were dumb enough to pass the Heritage Foundation/RomneyCare plan that Republicans had been pushing since 1986.

But you tell yourself whatever you need to ...

Sure.... why blame anyone?

Glad to see you're turning over a new leaf in this post. I expect to see the constant blaming and whining in your posts stop here. Reasonable?

Nah.

I'll still laugh at you and others who will be stuck with government healthcare. It's what you wanted.

Well don't complain when government changes things.

Who cares who you "laugh" at? That's as silly as the ubiquitous graphic you post after most of your utterances.

I'm not stuck with government healthcare, I am stuck with the subsidized insurance companies that have Congress in their pockets.

You're the one complaining and whining dude; physician, heal thyself.

And man do they love their big government.

It's like the issues with socialism.

They get it, then complain that it's not "real socialism".

They have their government-run healthcare, but it's not "real" government-run healthcare.

hahahahahahaha

You mean this is conservative government healthcare...

The insurance companies keep a monopoly and all the power, while the US citizens continue to get price gouged to line their pockets..

At least we can be sure the GOP is getting plenty of insurance company lobbying donations!

That's a good thing right??

Government writes the laws that insurance companies follow.

I wanted no government involvement and ways to reduce healthcare costs so even insurance would not be necessary.

But I'm just an old guy on the internet. I have no "powers" to change things.

I can only observe and comment on what I see.

Enough people wanted government healthcare. Well, now you're going to get it.

Because it was a republican plan..

Remember it is RomneyCare...

The ACA was the meet in the midddle agreement the GOP backed out of last second, and the democrats still passed..

Is it the democrats fault???

ABSOLUTELY!!

But that doesn't change the fact it was the republican plan...

The dems are just weak and too willing to compromise, while the GOP holds strong for their corporate donors..

Republicans and democrats are both winners here.

They get to keep control over healthcare.

The only losers are the American people.

The failures of Obama.Care started when the ACA passed. Period.

Failures amplified when the Supreme Court outlawed parts of it.

Then Congress failed to remedy those parts.

Then Congress continued to fail to repair the failures.

Catch22 -- and you keep paying for it.

In the meantime, the medical industry keeps getting all the big money.

Don't forget, the insurance companies MUST PAY OUT 80%-85% of premium money.

The funnel top keeps getting wider.

Yes they do trust their big federal government, because the alternative is trusting big business or trusting the state government..

Both of which have repeatedly shown they cannot be trusted...

I've never understood that...

It is a zero sum game.

Trusting yourself is not an option..

It's trust the states and big buisness , or trust the federal government.

There is no third option... it's either..

A) With the states and big buisness either their only concern is profit or their is no over site and no way the media can cover every county and district..

Which literally gives them free rein for corruption..

B) trust the fed to regulate those things because at least they are accountable to us through elections AND the media is constantly up their @$$es so at least we are somewhat informed...

I have no idea how anyone decides trusting big buisness and the individual states is a good idea.

Yet no Republicans voted "yes" on ACA.

And here you can see insurance donates big to Democrats too.

The "lopsidedness" between Ds and Rs is the fact the Rs have more people in Congress, there is no other reason.

Some here have argued that it's the fault of insurance companies and not the fault of government.

But insurance companies don't act in a vacuum.

They are operating with the full approval of government.

They are acting as the proxy for government.

Actually, with some, it's "trust the Federal government as long as my team is in power."

I don't trust any level of government, because anyone who wants to exercise power over others, in my book, is psychopathic.

However, in the US, we have/had a system in which the power was recognized (at least philosophically) as coming from the People, and governance was divided between Federal, State and local governments all further split into executive, legislative and judicial branches, and riding overall was the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

At this current time in history, we probably have come closer to the ideal of recognizing that all are born as equals, and that we have rights that arise from the fact of our existence ... not because some other agency "gave" them to us.

And we still have a long way to go with racism, sexism, etc.

One of the fundamental themes of the Constitution is that all of the levels of government function at the will of the people to promote the general welfare of the people. Some folks, having "gotten theirs" however, don't want to participate any longer.

That's the fundamental issue here ... along with the fact that most of our governmental servants now function as corporatists rather than for the People.

Gang of Six, Xuench. Heritage Foundation, RomneyCare.

It's only sad and pathetic when you try to side-step the truth so obviously.
