The problem is, you haven't figured out any solutions. You've made a list of demands which aren't easy to meet.
.

Sure they are easy to meet. Negotiate drug prices with drug companies? Doable.

Install a Medicare for all plan, it's just a matter of money, how much in tax and how much in out of pocket.

Cover pre existing conditions and limits to coverage....I thought we already had that?

Tort reform for Dr. Malpractice, eaisly done.

What is so pie in the sky that can't be done?

The financing of Medicare for all l, if we are to look at the Sanders plan, would be less for the average American than they pay for Healthcare now.

I know the funding of something like Medicare for all scares people. You know what, currently paying over $1,000 a month for coverage that still has a 5,500 deductible per person scares me even more.

What's your solution Dfairlite?

Lying? I don't know. But he did know that the vote was meaningless just like all the Republicans did.

Yes, that's a form of lying.

You know he was being tortured, right? He broke. He's admitted it. Judge him for it when you are put through what he was.

No way, John McCain claimed yet another status of victimhood???????? I'm shocked! Is there any evidence of this? I mean, there are many contradictions to his torture story including one of the prison guards and people who were POW's with him. Hell, he makes a big deal out of denying "early release" but do you know what the cost of early release was? The tokyo rose audio. So did he really refuse or did they just use him, get his audio then not "early release" him? Here's the deal, if McCain is so honorable, why doesn't he honor his positions (I'm not just talking about ACA, this is not a recent phenomenon for Johnny)? I feel bad for what he endured 50+ years ago (tortured or not), but that shouldn't mean he gets a free pass especially considering that he buckled and committed treason.

Many do not share your opinion.

"We were all tortured and we wrote confessions under the pressure of torture," said Swindle, who was a cellmate with McCain and is active in his campaign. "John McCain never collaborated with the enemy. He, like every one of us, submitted to severe torture. John McCain did nothing dishonorable. He was heroic."

You think providers aren't already doing this?

Install a Medicare for all plan, it's just a matter of money, how much in tax and how much in out of pocket.

I ran the numbers on this once, It would be an additional 15-20% payroll tax, hello bankruptcy!

Tort reform for Dr. Malpractice, eaisly done.

I thought you wanted quality care, now you don't want us to have recourse when they leave tools inside you after surgery?

The financing of Medicare for all l, if we are to look at the Sanders plan, would be less for the average American than they pay for Healthcare now.

LOL sanders and economics, that's hilarious. Sorry, it's just too funny to even give a proper response to!

Yes, a new 20% payroll tax should scare just about everyone. Especially when 70% of the country couldn't cover a $500 emergency without a credit card.

What's your solution Dfairlite?

I don't work in healthcare and am not dumb enough to think that it's a simple solution. There's a reason health care costs so much here and it's not because any one group is getting filthy rich. That said, pharmaceuticals are the sector with the highest profit margins (they're right around where banks are). So some sort of reform could be warranted, maybe patent reform. But again, I'm not a healthcare professional and I haven't looked into where those dollars are coming from. Are they making all of their money on cialis and viagra or are they raking people over the coals for cancer treatments? My solution, more free markets, not less.

No, 49 of them voted for the bill. of the three that didn't only one didn't vote for it in 2015. So not all of republicans lied, though I suspect mccain covered for many.

And no, dems didn't lie, they love the ACA, naively.

Many do not share your opinion.

Look up Philip Butler. Look up Nguyen Tien Tran.

But again, what happened to a man 50 years ago, has no bearing on my opinion of his actions today. He long ago wore out his victim card with me.

Odd statement.
You thought it important enough to post a video about it.

Yeah sorry your team wasn't allowed, once again, to strip health care away from millions of Americans.

Better luck next time, dickheads. Maybe salute your treasonous confederate flag more for it's blessing. lmao. scumbags

Just providing some balance to the hero worship. Don't care what he did either way 50 years ago. It's his actions over the last 10-15 that are relevant.

And one particular issue.

The way Leslie Stahl was gushing over John McCain tonight, during his interview on CBS's 60-Minutes, you'd think that he was President.

She compared his Strength, Integrity, and his brave and courageous fight against brain cancer, to Ted Kennedy...the LION of the Senate.

I would imagine that anyone with brain cancer would put up a valiant fight for one's own life.

It's too bad he didn't do that for his fellow Americans instead of pissing them off, cheating lying and stealing for manipulative purposes.

John McCain is so nuts, that having a cancer eating his brains out, does not even dent the way he runs the show. He is behaving exactly the way he's been doing for several decades - as a brainless idiot.

Why is everyone so much in favor of this Republican bill? This bill leaves in place the ACA taxes, removes the mandate, removes the credits for low income participants and removes pre-existing condition protections. That is horrible, it amounts to a tax raise while effectively repealing the ACA.

I listen to people complain about the ACA caused prices to increase and paying for other peoples insurance. Well the concept of insurance is that you pay for other people's cost and hope you never have to use it. This is a very complex topic. But, costs are going up for many reasons that have noting to do with ACA;aging population, development of more expensive treatments, rise of larger middlemen in the system etc. The ACA was a start. Aging population is an issue that cannot be solved unless we want to let people die. The other issues should be addressed by thoughtful legislation, not political rhetoric absent thoughtful policy. We are all going to get old and all of us are going to need help someday. Remember that before you demand that ACA be destroyed.

BTW, I am a business owner, close to retirement, but not yet Medicaid eligible. My share of my employee health care costs annually above my own insurance costs are $60K per year. So, I have a pretty good handle on what the true costs are...
