While not being all that good a player, slinkys or bullets are my fave start strings.
I like em, doubt I'll ever change.

Long time player here. Been playing since I was 9, so 32 years. Have a home studio, probably about $50,000 plus the remodeling. Suits me fine. Gotta say I’m pretty skeptical about these strings, especially how they act harmonically, and how intonation is set up on guitars. Some bridges are angled for that reason alone. It seems like the strings solve a problem that doesn’t exist.

Well it's subjective..maybe not peaked as an artist but on whole the album is a masterpiece to me, love the crazy story, sonically it is masterfully engineered, musically fantastic..I have to admit he had a broad body of work and I'm not intricately familliar with all of it.
What do suggest I listen to, to broaden my horizons?

It was just in fun. It's impossible to say as a listener.

As an artist he pushed himself strait into avant garde classical and became respected for it by that group of like 75 listeners (more in europe)

It was light hearted humor didn't mean to be serious.

The "you can't do this on stage anymore" series is pretty good at showing how tight that band was. Some has lil stevie Vai on it where they plucked him out of Berklee.
