One could argue that the White House and the halls of the Capitol are the "Temple" of American Democracy. And yes, John Lewis IS entitled to his righteous indignation.

So John Lewis is a fan of whipping people with a bull whip?

Hmmm. Sounds like he is an OD. Original Democrat.

I wonder if his bull-whip sentiment applies to the protesters, rioters, statue removers, etc?

I think you know the answer to that. It only refers to those that disagree with his ideology. The same way it did with the original democrats.

Should people literally be hanged on street lights because they're socialist? Because someone on your side said that.

Ever heard of a dysphemism?

Only if they were desperate to come up with an excuse for their personal feelings.

And yes, John Lewis IS entitled to his righteous indignation.

Not when he doesn't have any to be entitled to.

My side? I don't have a side, my side is logic and reason.

I find your statement to be funny.

You said you don't have a side, then you said your side is logic and reasoning. Do you not realize what your said?

If you don't have a side, then you have no logic or reasoning.

I just thought it was funny is all.

Doing something honorable and noble 50 years ago does NOT excuse ignorant, bigoted, biased behavior today.

Oh, sorry. I may have assumed a little too much. You know what they say about ASS-U-ME'ing.

And I don't know if I'm allowed to say who it is by the
T&C.

Well if righteousness is attributed to Christianity, at least that is what I am sensing since you mentioned Christ.

Christ would be the only one who could have righteousness indignation, for he said," No one is good, not one."

Like experiencing limitations to choice and other freedoms foistered upon you by officials that neither represent your ideas nor you have ability to vote out. That despite your hopes and aspirations you are forced into a decision of suffer in silence or lash out risking harm and jail time for daring to disrupt those above your station....

Gonna say that many to be whipped already understand, just from a different point of view.

"Ignorant, bigoted, biased behavior today" is what Lewis is railing against.

Some of you guys astound me in your hypocrisy. Trump retweets violent imagery of attacking reporters and hitting Hillary Clinton with a golf ball, among other similar tweets, but John Lewis expresses a fantasy about taking his frustration with apathetic masses and protesting Neo Nazis, out with a bullwhip, you get TRIGGERED!

Lewis wants to beat people for having different opinions and beliefs.

It's not surprising that you would support that.

So you know how black people during and before the 60's felt? Everyone has this issue, not just a few.

It's not. Even Jesus experienced righteous indignation, according to the story. Righteous indignation is a very real human emotion and it's what American's felt after 911 when they went out and bombed Afghanistan and Iraq!

So, I'll ask you again, who is entitled to righteous indignation, if not John Lewis?

And, Trump wants to knock Hillary Clinton out with a golf ball, and run over CNN reporters with a locomotive! Telling, eh?
