Hey, I'm currently attending college and I'm writing a paper about whether the US is more conservative, liberal, or nationalist. If anyone can help me get some information about this it would be greatly appreciated.

thanx,
Slingblade

Is this your premise or a classwide assignment where the expected result would be different answers to the same question?

What's your theory so far?

Having attended college myself and written a paper or two, I suggest you go to the library and do some serious research. You might want to do poll here, but only as a footnote, as you will probably not be able to expect very clean data, as I know of no means to control for variables, such as demographics.

The librarian, the research desk, and the learning lab are your friends.

As a whole, it's kinda of difficult to say.....it depends on many variables, geographical location, socio-economic status, etc......it also depends on what you define as "conservative" and "liberal." I think that you'd have to define those terms for their usage in your paper. I'm in college too.....I hate research papers.....lol...
